Poor excuse for a service centre!
Wish I could give zero stars. How does a vehicle come back in WORSE shape from a mechanic? Seriously. Tell me.

I would never recommend this service centre. We travelled from a regional area to have my brake pads replaced after attending here the week previous for a general service. I was told to arrive at 9.30am, and that it would take 2 hours so I could travel home before lunch. At 1pm I asked why the car was taking so long and was told that I should have arrived at 8am if I wanted to be prioritised, and that other cars were being serviced first. I finally received my car back at 2pm after checking and asking with the reception multiple times. I am truly disappointed as after travelling nearly 4 hours each way there was no priority made for me. They were aware we had to travel both ways prior to me booking my car in and at the time acted as though they would prioritise us. Any reasonable business would have prioristed someone in this position, or atleast kept to their schedule after specifically giving me a time slot and time estimate. Really poor service guys. Will not be back.

Car booked in for 10.00am for a recall software update. They told me it won't take long and i instructed them that I will be waiting for my car. Due to covid I couldn't wait in waiting room so I went for a walk. I rang them at 11.10am to see how my car was going. They told me it had only just went into service bay and it wont take long. I didnt receive my car until 1.00pm. 2 hours later. They even left a dirty cloth inside the car. I would never recommend them.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and were able to fit my vehicle in to be looked at ahead of schedule. Unfortunately, that is the only good thing I have to say about McCarroll's. I was told that a small part of my fiat's transmission needed replacing. They quoted me $10 300. This is more than what I paid for the car. I fail to see how they can charge almost half the price of the car brand new, to replace a singular part. I have since taken the car to a local mechanic, and have been quoted $2900 to replace the entire gearbox and clutch. I am disgusted in McCarroll's willingness to rip off it's customers.

Lovely staff, excellent service.
I took the car for a recall, they repaired it under warranty but, when I picked up, the car has been cleaned inside and out too! I didn't expect it, I was pleasantly surprised, thank you!

Not happy at all, was quoted $542.50 + gst to diagnose an issue with my Jeep (but previously the mechanic I normally use diagnosed the same problem code that jeep came up with for free) I thought that was expensive but what choice did I have as my mechanic told me to take it to Jeep to double check before any unnecessary repairs were carried out. The following day I got a text message telling me the car is ready to be picked up at the cost $852.50 incl GST, so I'm thinking great they've fixed my car unfortunately not it was an extra $232.50 + GST as they carried out a repair I did not authorise, I'd just woken up from night shift so I was not in the right frame of mind to argue the point. To think if the transmission apparently needs an overhaul, my reverse park assist is the probably not so important. I didn't even think of writing a review until I read other unsatisfied customers that are getting ripped off like I was. This car has been log book serviced and only has 113000 on the odometer, it's a 2 wheel drive and has never been off road we'd expect the transmission to last longer than that. I'm talking about Jeep McCarroll's service centre Broadmeadow

The worst service experience, you can possible have, you get the hint when you arrive at the service desk and the sign reads abuse won't be tolerated, had my car in for 4 times to have the wiper timing fixed, four times I got the car back and still not fixed but was told it was done warning lights on dash for service never reset, put car in at 7.30 told them I need the car back at two after they failed to fix the car prior rang me at 1.30 to ask me what the car was in for. Please please do yourself a favour, do not get your car serviced here, a really really dishonest business, they just don't care

We recently used McCarrolls for some Warranty work on our brand new Fiat Ducato (Multiple ECU Errors after just 30km). They didn't sell the vehicle & we felt sorry for them to lump them with an untested vehicle (Motorhome). There is a priority service arrangement for their own customers as you would expect. We found the staff were trying to be helpful on a difficult problem which can arise on complex vehicles but weren't helped by trying to schedule warranty work in already long queues for other multiple different make vehicles & owners wanting service. Sadly it is another Family Owned Multiple Vehicle Manufacturer Conglomerate. Time & attention to details & effective road testing & communications with customers are difficult. After two attempts to rectify the issues and having the motorhome for 2 weeks, we drove off from McCarrolls to find the same problem 10km down the road. We appreciated the efforts of under the pump stressed staff but sadly must back out to a smaller operation to get the faults resolved. A lesson was learn't. Larger Family Conglomerate Dealers cannot provide a positive outcome no matter how hard they try due to cultural (profit at all costs) issues in some circumstances
We took our motorhome elsewhere, the problem was fixed within 2 hours. From now on we will Support smaller more nimble operations outside main centres. We advise anyone to do the same.

A big shout out to the two guys at the front desk who sorted out an on-going problem for me with my Renault Clio. I was about to give up on McCarroll’s as they kept telling me they had fixed the problem, only for it to recur - but they have now really come through with a thorough service, solved the issues and my car is good as gold again.

Day light Robbery charged me over 600$ and still couldn't fix the problem on my Fiat Ducato. The part cost on line 75.99$ the charged me 300$, after all that I was told that I need a new Turbo McCarrols cost 4,800$. Cost from Denco Diesel 1,600$ Day Light Robbery. Labour charge from McCarrols 1,700? 10 hours to do the job, had it done else where cost me 900$ labour. McCarrols Rip Off? Yes Value? No. Always Shop Around. Don't Get Shafted.

1st service for a $45k Renault. Asked if it was possible to look at a very minor wind noise from driver door. Got the car back with damage to the door trim and door not closing properly, also permanent damage to passenger side dash.
Returned car for them to fix, some bright spark had forgot to tighten the whole latch assembly and was told that they were bright enough to not have caused the other damage. So 2 options, we are lying about the dash damage or someone stuffed up. They didn’t want to accept any responsibility for their poor service.
This is why I hate buying new cars, will have my trustworthy local mechanic do all schedules servicing from here out.

I have been servicing with mccarrolls for a few years now, never had a problem but always just felt like a number. The last 2 times ive been in ive been treated exceptionally well, they had my issues address and kept in great communication. I was even offered a coffee while i waited at the coffee shop around the corner. Thanks team mccarrolls i dont know whats changed in there but keep it up.

I have found the team at Broadmeadow to be very knowledgeable about Jeeps. They are friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I drive from the Central Coast to Broadmeadow to get my car serviced there. It is worth the drive when you find a service centre that knows what they are doing. Keep up the good work guys!
