(second-hand review based on how they've been treating a close friend of mine)

come here if you want a job provider who'll miss appointments *THEY* book and still suspend your pay over it even though *YOU* turned up and *THEY* didn't

if you want a competent job provider who won't punish you for their own laziness, there's a Wise employment office nearby, or Centerlink is just a 10-minute walk down the road, ask them for literally any other job provider but the sorry lot at Max

pitiful that they even have government funding, reckon the ombudsman needs to look into them

*Phone staff are abusive beyond belief

Office dark quiet gloomy and depressing

And to top it off they can't do anything.who is even paying for this place

A woman screamed mean things at me so I went in to sort things out
They then tell me that they can't find out who it was because there call center is in Queensland

The manager looks half baked and the employees get to talk to people however they like

If you get sent here run
Seek assistance elsewhere the mentality in this office is nasty

Absolutely dreadful staff, absolutely dreadful place, WISE Employment is literally across the road and a million times better than the bigots that work here; WISE will treat you like a human being, the workers at MAX seem to treat clients like verbal punching bags

There's an employee at your office you need to investigate; her name is Chloe and she's making your business look very bad.

She's unprofessional, rude, and borderline abusive, and I suggest either her employment be terminated, or she be transferred to a non-customer-service position.

I walked in the office for the first time today by accident (I thought it was my new Employment agency next door APM Employment) & they had a go at me for not wearing a mask so I wore my mask straight away after they told me to wear one. They could easily tell me in a nice, polite way but they were very abroabt torwards me as soon as I stepped in & they made me feel very uncomfortable. When I was talking a gentleman was talking on top of my voice cutting me off & all that happened while NONE of them was wearing a mask! So confusing! After they checked my details they advised me that I'm with APM next door which i was so happy to hear! I couldn't get out of there quick enough! I have 15 years Office experience, 5 years as a Recruitment Consultant, I have never seen a behaviour like this in an Employment sector where they are suppose to be professional, polite, helpful, empathetic with great customer service skills! What a disappointment! Thank God I'm not with them!

UPDATE: JOB COWBOY
So much attitude, so little help.

They still don't have a bathroom available. Love it.

UPDATE: The auto reply message says they will pass this on to their ethics team, but nothing has changed since i originally made light of this (2 years ago?).

Very poor attempt at disability support service. Demanding 4-5 visits a week, multiple hours while job searching on their decrepit excuse for a computer.

RE: NO BATHROOMS
No, i'm not comfortable using the pub 2 blocks away and coming back. As my MEDICAL CONDITION is RENAL FAILURE and NERVE DAMAGE, I dont think its appropriate that you ask me to do this.

'Disability support' generally requires some amount of empathy and patience.
But they ARE really good at cutting off your support if you can't physically make it in the building. Ill give them that.

Called them 10 times before I got an answer to tell them couldn’t make an appointment they said ok we can mark your attendance get email saying need to
Record my attendance rang another 4 times no answer now payments got cut off

Four weeks ago i was in a car accident my leg is still in a cast i sustained a broken leg fractured ribs dislocated shoulder with many cuts and bumps for the last 5 days i have emailed max employment in marrickville around about 15 emails and also to the head office i was meant to report yesterday to receive my benefit today max employment had stopped my payment did not respond to one of my emails i also sent through all the medical certificates but still did not get one response and yet they pride themselves on excellent customer service where is this customer service i would get better service from a bloody pigeon absolutely disgusting now i have to walk on crutches to the nearest centerlink which is a 45 minute walk

Really great and person centred. As a more senior community services professional suddenly out of work and wanting to do anything rather than be unemployed, my case manager Ly really understood my situation and went out of her way to assist in my self-directed job search.

Had a horrid experience at this MAX employment, they don’t care about people. There was one consultant that was lovely and she was moved to another Max a long time ago now, most likely because she treated her clients with dignity and respect.she realised that we are humans. But the consultant that replaced her is awful and while i’m thankful I never have to go to this facility ever again I will remember the people there that wouldn’t let me move consultants, that called me a liar because they didn’t believe me when I told them that the consultant I ended up with not only likened my depression to her having foot surgery but also asked me a question regarding how my week had been and then proceeded to turn around and tell me that she didn’t care. Avoid Li at all costs as she is heartless and doesn’t care about those who have mental health issues. I was running late and stuck in traffic to an appointment and she threatened to cut my pay off even though I was on my way, I ended up in Burwood having an anxiety attack the entire way there but the tipping point was that when I got there she completely ignored me, she didn’t offer me a tissue or try to calm me down, instead the on site councillor at the time did. She and the rest of the staff seem to strongly lack any and all empathy and don’t care about those who are suffering with health issues. AVOID THIS MAX EMPLOYMENT AT ALL COSTS.

Wish I could give this place zero stars. If you HAVE to come here, don't. Language barrier is incomprehensible. The only person who deals with disabilities is insensitive and couldn't care less about mental health. Disrespectful staff, no privacy and no knowledge of disabilities. If you like being made to feel bad about yourself, then this is the place for you.

It seems as if staff are not interested in helping people find work, only concerned with hitting targets and making commission. Refused to to reschedule appointments, when I had tests and scans for cancer treatment.

It's pleasant at times but they can't tell you what to do and I don't like being treated like I am being judged because I don't have a job. They don't listen and they don't listen to what you have to say.

Had them as my JobActive provider a year or so ago, this site isn't as bad as MTC, atleast they get to know their clients and know the jobs gonig on

Good on the phone.so far anyway. Postponed my interview 3 days due to the stress of moving. They do not have to.
