Max Brenner Chocolate Bar

This place used to be so busy, but people forget how good the chocolate is here. Taste and quality of the food is as good as before. Service is also good.

It seems that the cafe may benefit from some improvements in their cleanliness and service. Although they brought our coffee promptly, the sweet plate came quite late, which made it difficult to enjoy our hot drinks with the dessert. Hopefully, the cafe will take this feedback constructively and make the necessary changes to enhance the overall customer experience.

Best thing about this place is the chocolate licks and the opening hours. Every other cafe in metropolitan Sydney is closed by 3.30pm.

I went twice, but sincerely, expansive for quality. Hot chocolate likes powder chocolate. The food is beautiful and atmosphere great. Just need more a little bit of chocolate taste.

Very few staff working on a busy Saturday night. Had to wait a lot for coffee. It is completely fault of the management if there is one

The drink is not bad, i like the one with dark chocolate. The food and cake is ok but a bit pricey.

Spacious place and good for hanging out

This was our local fav Max Brenner, but today we went for hot choc and got ignored for like 20 minutes standing and waiting to order. We understand the store was busy but at least said something like "please wait a moment". Nothing was said, we got ignored at the counter, then we asked the waitress if we should wait to order or whats happening, she ignored and went clean the table instead. Then after 5 minutes we asked the barista if we could quickly order or anything, she put up her finger and said 'just one second' without any apologies. Rude! So we left straight away and this would be last time coming back.

Always save room for dessert.

I live in the Eastern Suburbs and have been buying Pan cakes numerous times and never had cause for any critique other than "best in Eastern Suburbs".

I went here for a coffee 2 days ago, I think Bill was the one served me. He was really friendly and always makes the best coffee.

He’s really genuine on helping me and good customer service.

The mocha coffee is just wow. 11/10. I came back a few days after and ordered the same thing for the 2nd time it did not disappoint! Highly recommend. However, the waffles weren’t worth it. Expensive, small serving and it was just too sweet. Nothing special about it. Will definitely come back for the coffee only.

Great dessert bar to dine in at Alexandria. First time eating at this Max Brenner and I was happy with the food and service. Tried their new Choc Hazelnut Cake and I really enjoyed it, especially the milk chocolate mousse. I plan to try the Lychee, Raspberry & Rose Cake or White Cocokare Raspberry Crepe Cake next time I'm here.

I am regular customer here. As I work across the road and this place is somewhat close to where I live.
The staff is friendly. The food and coffee is live up to my expectations every time.

Pleasant but overpriced. The coffee is reliably good. Cold drinks however are pricey ($8.80 for an iced chai) and the ice cream they use is kind of chalky and leaves your mouth feeling dry and ick.

I ordered tutti frutti waffle with strawberries banana and chocolate dip, way too sweet for me, actually it was most sweetest thing I had tried after 1.5 years after I had full of sugar tea in my inlaws relatives lol, after this waffle we had hit chocolate which was again too sweet. So my plan for next visit will be banana and strawberries only with chocolate dip, no waffle and also I will request them to put half or 1 sugar in hot chocolate, in terms of taste hot chocolate was great 8f u take the sugary part out.

My go to coffee everyday, coffees great and pralines. I get discounts too as I work next door. Cathy is lovely always smiling when I see her she’s very friendly! Same as Olivia too nice chat with her. I like keep coming back here. Will bring my friends here in the future to get some desserts and drinks!

Great drinks and food however its expensive. Their hot chocolate is a must and their sundae is incredible.

Really a good place to indulge sweets. A lovely place to enjoy a delightful hot chocolate, coffee, cold beverages with superb waffles or fancy pretzels were my choices. Warm and friendly service. Neat and spacious. They also close late, so when you're craving for that hot chocolate, this is the place. 'could not ask for more, you'll love this amazing Max Brenner Chocolate Bar!

Friendly staff and amazing service! Tutti fruitt and peanut butter chokie is my favorite also they have delicious small cakes like redvelvet. I also love their pretzel especially the ones with white chocolate and cookie crumbs on top so good! Banana split waffle sundae is to die for! Italian think is also recommended! Will definitely come back for cheat days!

Had a great experience here the other day. Staff were friendly and my desserts were amazing. Even though they were very busy, they did great job overall! It's been a while since I have been to a Max Brenner and I am hooked again!
