Lucy was recommended to me by a friend who also had her wedding dress altered by Lucy and I am so glad I went with my friend's suggestion! Lucy was so warm and friendly and she has so much experience and an eye for detail that I felt confident I was leaving my wedding dress in safe hands. I intended to get the hem taken up and a bustle added but Lucy made some other minor alteration suggestions that made the whole dress sit perfectly on the day. Lucy is efficient and her price is also very reasonable. I would highly recommend Lucy to any bride looking to have alterations to her wedding dress.

Lucy altered my wedding dress (dress was 2-3 sizes too big, too long, need bustles added, straps shortened, etc) and now it fits me perfectly! I had dress regret before this and now I'm in love with the dress again ️
Her pricing is also the best one around Sydney. Definitely would use her service again in the future.

Lucy is incredibly talented, we had a vision on my bridesmaid dress that I wanted to basically re-design and she perfected it! She was extremely quick and I am so pleased with how it turned out! Took my wedding dress and my bridesmaids dresses here to get them altered, and Lucy was very professional, knew what needed to be done with the dresses, respected all of my bridesmaids requests in how they would like their dresses to sit and was also very honest in what she feels will look and feel better with the dresses also.

Lucy was very kind, respectful, her work was wonderful and seamless, followed how we asked for, was very specific with her work and the price was reasonable.my wedding dress was quite sensitive with multiple beading work, and had a fair bit of layers. Lucy managed to tackle everything and made sure that it looked it's best.

I did lose quite a few kg just before my wedding day due to the usual stresses so my dress ended up sitting a little loose on me, but even still, the dress was intact and I still slayed on the day.

I took my mother in-law to do her dress alterations also, which she then took her sister as well.a very friendly seamstress who is definitely passionate about what she does.

Reasonable prices and lovely owner. Would highly recommend. She is no longer at Parramatta so make sure you get the right address from her.

Absolutely amazing experience at Matilda's Alterations. Miss Lucy was extremely lovely! She provided great advice for alterations on my formal dress and went above and beyond to make sure I would be satisfied. Despite being extremely busy, Miss Lucy was amazingly accomodating, and very fast in her work. For the high quality of work, the price was more than reasonable. I am very grateful to her, thank you! I had very little time get my suite and pants fixed for my grad ceremony and Ms. Lucy from Matilda’s delivered quickly and efficiently. Definitely recommend this one. Lucy is truly a wonderful tailor, I took in jeans, a blazer and coat and within a week they were are altered and ready for pick up. She is moving next week to her home address but is a great tailor in the parramatta area.

For an adjustment to the correct length of trousers. Good customer service with s smile, also the price is right.

A little disappointed with workmanship. Paid 115 to get dress taken up, spaghetti straps adjusted slightly and a small panel put on the front of dress over the chest area. The panel looked like a roughly cut piece of material loosely hand sewn on, and when the garment was on you could see the thread from the stitches because they were pretty far apart and the area puckered. It look really bad just ended up asking Lucy to take it off and I didn’t have enough confidence in her skills to leave the dress to be further adjusted. I was told that the panel was not able to be inset only after seeing the result, it would have been nice to know that when see had a look at the dress, as I wouldn’t have asked for it to be done. So ended up paying for panel to be sewn in, only to have it removed straight away. The hem seem ok though and strap adjustment was ok, but for $115, not worth it. Will not go back again unfortunately.

I recently started going here, and I have found them to be very efficient and do very good quality alterations work for a reasonable price.so far I have had 2 pairs of pants taken out at the waist, 2 tops shortened/taken in and an old favourite cardigan repaired that had some holes around the collar. The alterations were all really well done and the repair was invisible, making the cardigan look like new. I would highly recommend them!
