MatchWorks reviews
8Friendly personable service, which made me feel at ease and empowered to return to the work force after a long period of convalescing.
Every call, meeting, every interaction I have with these guys is great. They are very helpful, and take the time to learn who you are, to be able to really help. They have always found time for me, even when I have had to cancel on short notice. Excellent service, and I would highly recommend.
I was very happy with the girls working there tennille was the person I worked with she was great and very helpful I could talk to her about my situation very easy going person I would recommend her to help anyone who needs help thank u
I met with my consultant today and she was very patient with me, thank you for your help setting up my new my gov and job search
Unfortunately over the years i’ve been linked to a few different job networks and honestly thought they were just an inconvenience due to the lack of help I received. Since being with Matchworks my opinion has changed dramatically. I’m in regular contact with my case manager whether by phone, text or email and that’s really helped when I’ve needed help understanding emails regarding positions I’ve applied for or courses I’ve been interested in. I’m contacted often regarding positions I’m suitable for and constantly reassured and motivated things will get better. By far the best job network and staff I’ve come across. A place that makes you feel important instead of a number towards a KPI.
It was SO nice to meeting my new consultant Gemma this morning!
Thank you very much for your kindness, patience, time, hard work and all your supports!
I am excited to find work with you and speak to you more soon.
Kind Regards
MatchWorks in Penrith prevents job seekers getting work. They force you to go in there every week to apply for their jobs on their computers (they only have 4 available and they are all terrible). Even if you can apply for your jobs at home and fill out the job seeker website at home, they still want you to go into their agency to look for work. It's difficult though because they have the worst computer system of all time. There system is so secure you can't do anything on it. Good luck going to a website to apply for a job on their business page because it has blocked that as well. They won't even let you copy and paste your phone number. The internet (or most likely the computer) is so slow, when you are there for an hour you are lucky to even be able to apply for 1 job, when in fact if you job search at home you could apply for roughly around 10 jobs in that time. They force job seekers into pointless workshops. The management is cold as ice. They have the aboriginal flag up and the islander flag up but no Australian flag up. No staff there helps job seekers with the computers and don't care if they notice someone struggling (they just look away). Most job seekers sit at the computers, play around for an hour and go home to do actual job search which probably gets them better results. The computer system is a joke and you can do bucklies on it. Ridiculous job provider and ridiculous computer system. My advice don't join this job provider.
