Master Kebabs Kempsey reviews
24 Kabab was terrible. The chicken was old and tough, way too much sour cream and it was un-eatable for $18.00. Had to throw
more than half of it away as I could not eat it. It’s a shame as there are new managers.
Monday 18th December 2024, ordered a kebab, waited 40mins went in to ask if it was ready and got told "I must have given it to someone else" when no-one else had walked into the shop, they went on to make my kebab and received it about ten minutes later, poor quality kebab missing all the salads, poor quality service, tasted like mush, cost $18 for one kebab, never ever ever again, so dissapointed I would give them minus 5 stars
Absolutely disgusting service from both owner and his staff, food was also terrible and I will never go back.
Hadn’t heard great things about the place, but saw a sign saying it was under new management so thought I’d give it a go. Staff we friendly and food wasn’t bad, but personally speaking, $15 for a standard cheeseburger seems rather unreasonable. In terms of value for money, this place unfortunately missed the mark.
Service was great and the food was pretty good too. Meat was nice and hot even after the 10 minute drive home. They're doing great as they are only just starting up with new management. Can't go wrong when the owner is that lovely, doob material.
Suzan just made me a kebab that rocked my world. I’ve just finished travelling Southern Europe, Central and North America, and I just ate the most enjoyable kebab I can remember! I’ve eaten a lot of good food over the last 12 months, and as a kebab fan I’ve eaten a lot of them too. The only place I can remember eating a kebab this good is in Berlin. I never thought Kempsey would represent so hard. Well done girls!
Don’t leave reviews often but felt i had to for this joint as I read all the reviews before going and nearly bailed on it. But I’ll give anything a go once and wow dont listen to the reviews and try it yourself!
Service review - met by 2 blokes who said gday and offered me a free slice of pizza while i put my order in.got a snack pack with cheese. $19 plus $2 for cheese.no complaints here price on par with all if not cheaper.
Food Review - I went in low with my expectations after reading reviews and Wow what a mad Snack Pack, absolutely loaded with meat cooked well and hot, chips cooked perfect (crunchy and golden) sauces i got chilli, garlic and bbq all tasted good and fresh! The cheese was like a thin grated on so cheese melted in perfectly.
Only feedback I'll give the restaurant is invest in some small tables and chairs in that front bit as you walk in. Just noticed a few customers standing and a bit irritated by standing.but hey could be apart of your plan before we eat all them calories!
Thanks for the great Snack Pack and I wish you guys all the best in the future!
Perfect Kebab. Definately not stingy on ingredients. Sauce delicious. Very much enjoyed it. Thankyou.
Every time I go here they charge me a different price for the exact same thing. They don’t toast the kebabs, you pay for extras and they don’t put them on and if looks could kill when you ask them to fix something. Definitely not worth it and they won’t last in a small town. So overpriced as well.
The worst keababs place. The prices on the menu are different at the time of payment, they are $3 dollars over and the answer from the staff was that they have not updated prices yet.then the keabab was not toasted no cheese no sauce. The worst place to eat. I won't go back there again.
The poor quality of these keababs and the high prices at the time to pay do not match the prices on the menu and the answer from staff is the are new prices and they havent update them yet.the worst keababs i have ever eaten.
Absolutely putrid food. Bought two combos and the chips were old and cold. Kebabs were cold and the tabouli was sour to the point it tasted rotten.
The place has neglected the quality of the keabab, high prices, poor quality, neither toasted nor sauces nor cheese. I will not go to that place again.
The kebabs were not toasted n the meat was burnt uncooked chips the kebabs were not wrapped properly.
Bad service, overpriced, pricing on packets don't match price paid. Kebab not folded well, not toasted, goes everywhere when you try to eat it and when asked for it to be toasted it was like I had asked her to eat dirt. After it was toasted the foil was embedded in the wrap. Meat tasteless no cheese that I had paid for and little sauce.never again!
$20 for a very small kebab. Waited outside while it was being made so unfortunately i didn’t have the chance to pull them up. No sauces even though it was ordered annd marked on my order pouch and I saw two pieces of tomato from the tabbouleh, which is an extra. Mostly iceberg lettuce and some tasteless meat: won’t be back. Wouldn’t even call it a kebab. Meat was reheated on a grill plate. Not toasted and not wrapped properly so everything falls out.
We ordered a falafel roll each. It only came with lettuce, tomato and onion. Tabbouleh and anything else were extras at $1 each.strange because tabbouleh is a basic. This bought the total price to $14.50 each.top end for a falafel roll. Nor were the rolls toasted and the falafel balls were not warm.
We also ordered a small chips for $6. They weren't freshly cooked and were a bit soggy and cool from sitting - not nice.
A disappointing and expensive meal all round - wouldn't recommend and won't be back.
I got a falafel kebab in a small combo. The chips were sadly not cooked fresh. I live out of town so I didn’t get to my kebab for a little while but I was sad to find out it wasn’t toasted and there was hardly any sauce. Other than that it was ok, salad was nice and fresh. Not the quality I’ve received from Kempsey Master Kebabs in the past…: (
Under new management, staff are so lovely and friendly, food was amazing and nice to see the shop open ️
Chips were cold and not freshly cooked, gozleme came out of a packet frozen with mystery cheese that definitely wasn’t feta, and falafel roll was cold and inedible.
Won’t be back, it’s a shame because previously I had enjoyed the food.
