I recommend avoiding this place. They claimed they sent the scans and report to my medical centre but my medical centre did not receive it. Upon asking to resend, Lumus states they are unable to resend and the only way to receive images was to pick up prints or create an online account. So much trouble and difficulty for my Dr to see my images. Also the receptionist staff seem angry and must be understaffed as when I call, I was repeatedly put on hold for 10+ minutes while the staff dealt with other things or hung up on me.

I recently visited Lumus Imaging Marrickville for an X-ray, and my experience was excellent. The staff was professional, ensuring a smooth process. The service was quick, and everyone I encountered was polite and helpful. I highly recommend Lumus Imaging for their efficiency and professionalism.

Was booked in a for a CT scan. Arrived 10 mins early and had fasted and drunk the required fluoro dye liquid to prepare for the scan. Was kept waiting for 1 hour 15 mins, after which time I left as had another appointment to keep. Not very fair on patients to keep them waiting with no information. Also I would note that I had been told not to drink any water as part of the fast. When I re-booked at another place, they told me that yes, I absolutely should drink water during the fast period for this type of scan. So now wondering about the reliability of information that Lumus Marrickville is giving out. I have not had problems at this place before, but now would certainly think twice before going back there.

The best service
Went in without an appointment and the fit me in
The receptionist Andy was so helpful and lovely and made me feel comfortable. Best receptionist and very professional.
The ultra sound specialist Sally was the best I’ve ever had and really took the time to check everything.
Best place ever. I will only be going back to this imaging place.
I travel all the way from the northern beaches

I called from home to check if I needed to make a booking. They told me I could come straight away. 30 minutes later, I was back home after getting x-rays and a ct scan. So quick and efficient. And they were all nice.

Went in for X-ray for my two knees, with referral from my GP. I got seen almost straight away. They accepted bulk billing. The whole process took less than 15 minutes. Excellent service.

Rang up and put on hold, before I could say “hello”… then they proceeded to attend to customers at the centre, whilst I waited to be be assisted.they forgot about me.after holding on, listening to all their conversations.privacy?? I finally hung up.there must have been about 3 people at the front desk.but no receptionist!

Visited for first time ultrasound I was a bit nervous but sonologist was very kind and smooth service.

I usually use their service at Burwood. Excellent but here somehow there are terrible and and a rip off. Upon contacting and booking I was told US procedure cost is either $139 or $185. But when I arrived they tried to charge over $500.

So of course didn’t went ahead and booked same thing at Burwood was $185. And god it done next day. Mind you they same company different branches. How could it can be justified. Not sure how many people got ripped off.

Excellent service. Clean, tidy, quick and competent. They got me in same day for ultrasound and xray- seamless transition between the two. 10 times better customer experience than the comprehensive medical imaging @ 111 on same road where they lose yr referrals and make errors with appts repeatedly. So relieved to find this better option. Update: Sadly 4 days later i have an appt with my GP and she has not received the reports.she is now calling them to chase.

UPDATE: just called back this am 17/3/22 and got the rude woman. Berated for asking a question. She is not in the right job. Unclear how a company gets so many complaints and yet they are still in the role? Must be family member or has something over the owner lol. Change jobs, you’ll be happier not doing customer service as it’s not your jam! …will also save everyone being punished for existing. Thanks

General imaging staff are lovly
Receptionist need a lesson in customer services
Lady with short curly hair has to be the rudest woman I’ve meet in a while
It’s not nice to come and be greeted by miserable judgmental staff
Smile at each other and are so nice to each other but when a customer enters the building it’s like oh and the eyes roll and body langue tells you right away I’m annoying there talk time ect!
If they spoke to customers as nice as each other this practice would run beautifully
My over all experience wouid of been much nicer if imaging staff served me.

Usually don’t have time to write reviews but this experience caught me off guard. I have been here on numerous occasions and most of the time it has been “ok” and straight to the process, not much conversation which is fine by me. Front desk is pretty unprofessional and probably needs a few lessons in customer service. Usually had the female sonographer to do pregnancy scans who is always pleasant. This time got the male, and his opening statement to me was, “why are you having this scan? This usually means something is wrong”. As a second time mother I know that this is a standard third trimester scan that woman undertake based on OB advice. What a poor introduction to anyone about to have a baby, let alone a first time mum (which I am not). Scan felt rushed, and was the quickest scan I’ve ever had, just didn’t feel thorough. The reviews on this place speak for themselves however I was yet to experience this until now. Lesson learnt, stay away.

Rang to get a copy of films and report for my father who has an appointment with his orthopaedic specialist. I am a doctor and they would not give me a copy of the films or report, nor would they forward to his specialist. I have never had this problem before with the many radiology practices that I have dealt with over the years. Would not recommend this practice if you need prompt medical service or communication.

Unfortunately the experience here was not welcoming at all, from the first phone call to then arriving on the day. The receptionist was rude & very unwelcoming. It's often a scary experience having these types of appointments and the last thing patients need are unfriendly & cold staff. The physiological safety provided for patience doesn't seem to be a priority at all, given all of the other reviews similar to ours. I hope they can make some changes for future patients. I won't be coming back here.

Terrible experience. Shown absolutely no compassion or empathy whilst they delivered bad news during an ultrasound, I was abruptly rushed out the door. Would never recommend.

Rang 9am on Saturday and got in straight away. 10/10 for an excellent service and all staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I think now from experience, to try for yourself rather than go by ratings. I needed an ultrasound quite urgently and I called around, they were the most welcoming and fitted me in within the hour. Sally who did my ultrasound is lovely and the tall brunette on reception was genuinely happy that she could fit me in at short notice.
