Recently visited the shop and purchased a beautiful rug. They were so helpful and friendly. Great experience and looking forward to purchase more in the future

Beautiful items but overpriced. Really annoyed to not only be sold a chipped plate but also see it was meant to be a set of 2.ridiculous.try to shop local & keep small business going & you get ripped off.

Be careful shopping here. I purchased a dress and found a fault in it when I got home. It was handled terribly by both the manager and the owner. I ended up having to contact Fair Trading for advice and they informed me of the owner’s legal obligation. This then prompted her to provide a refund. She refused to reimburse me for my return postage cost though. Her conduct was dishonest, unprofessional and not in line with Australian Consumer Law. I’m not surprised to see numerous negative reviews on here. My experience with this business was long winded, complicated and disappointing. I will not be shopping there again

Just went in to Marr-kett to purchase a $300 dress. I was the only person in the store but had to browse around while the shop assistant was on the phone. I leaned over to have a look at a book on display, placed too closely to a glass bowl with glass salad servers inside. One of the salad servers unfortunately broke. Could not believe she charged me for it. Obviously didn't buy the dress. Poor treatment of your customers. This local will not be back.

Ordered 3 cushions then told only 1 was available, so then had to choose alternative. I made a mistake of given them the incorrect postal address. It was my mistake but that day orders from 2 other suppliers using the same address.the other suppliers were very helping in re routing or reshipping the goods keeping the customer happy but not.
Marr -Keet, they use the worse shipping company available, uncontactable and unresponsive to emails. So now I have paid for goods and have no idea were they are. They've just thrown there hands upland informed me there's nothing they can do.
Thats my experience.

I visited Marr-kett yesterday afternoon (Sat, 9th Oct), and while I love this store, the service, or lack thereof, was really disappointing. I walked in and the person who was working wasn't wearing their mask properly, which was concerning enough, but there was also a second person in there who wasn't wearing a mask at all. This second person was obviously a friend of the worker, as they were out loud discussing with each other if they were "heading out that night". I spent a total of 15 minutes in the shop without ever being acknowledged or attended to, but rather, given the vibes of, "hurry up and get out so we can carry on with our private conversation. "

A must visit when in Byron Bay. Love this store fabulous range of home ware goods something for everyone, specialist in rugs and my favourite cactus cushions, excellent service.

A beautiful shop with a beautiful owner. Sally’s taste and eye for style is exquisite. Her gorgeous shop is well worth a visit for something unique you will treasure forever.

The shop is well-organised and a pleasure to view online. The range of goods is amazing and beautiful to see. I endorse it and hope that others will shop there too.

Horrible customer service, had an issue with an item I bought from them and instead of them trying to solve the issue professionally they blamed me for the issue instead. Will definitely not go again and will not recommend anyone else to buy anything from them either. I've also heard other people having negative experiences with their staff

Great store in Byron. I regretfully didn't purchase a cushion during my visit but 2 weeks later DM, emailed and commented asking if they were restocking it. I had no response to any of my queries. After 3 weeks I gave up and managed to find one elsewhere.
Still good for a visit with some good gift ideas.

Excellent little store, they were meant to be more a rug store than anything else, but ironically I found their jewellery, little ceramics, and in particular scented candles to be more impressive and better priced. Rugs still looked solid though.

Absolutely love the beautiful unique stuff they stock! And thank you to the lovely staff member that gave me some great advice on where to visit while I was in Byron ️

Gorgeous store with amazing rugs, pillows and other home decor.they have a warehouse sale a couple of times a year.

This little shop in Byron is an absolute gem! Such beautiful things to fill your house. Staff are super polite and helpful. Will defiantly be back when we are in Byron next.

At our recent holiday to Byron Bay I visited a lot of different shops and this one was my absolute fave. The owner was so lovely and took time to have a chat. A MUST visit place, absolutely beautiful products & I left feeling so happy! I got some amazing goods & felt very welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again soon! Xx

Where to start? I'm a former Byron bay local, back for the wedding of my daughter. I have seen dozens of home-wares/gift-wares stores come and go in Byron Bay.because they are missing that special sauce.

No one wants to walk into a store in Byron Bay and buy something that is clearly a generic wholesaled item stores in the big cities have. People come for a Byron Bay Shopping Experience.

You need a big range of fantastic, unique items, a range of price points for all comers, some superb locally created bits and bobs and the owners.well.they gotta work the floor and bring the charm.

I got a fantastic gift for my daughter here today, super service, a great price and the man part of this two person team even man wrapped the item for me so it looks like I did it.

A simply delightful experience. Couldn't be happier.

An absolute must to see this beautiful store when in Byron. Everything is so beautifully presented and it's always easy to find a gift at Marr-kett (even for the most difficult to buy for!) Rich and Sally went above and beyond to help us choose the perfect rug for our space, we couldn't be happier. Customer service is always amazing, and I love getting sneak peeks of their new deliveries via their mailers & insta. Thanks Marr-Kett! X

Honestly the worst customer service. Didn’t look up once to greet or ask if we wanted assistance. Was willing to buy items and ask questions but felt like It would bother the shop assistant. Felt uncomfortable. Lovely items, would not go again though.
