Marquis Education

Marquis Education has been a game-changer for me. The tutors are brilliant, and their personalized approach made all the difference in my learning journey. I've gained a deeper understanding of my subjects and achieved results beyond my expectations. I'm grateful for their support and highly recommend Marquis Education to anyone seeking to excel academically.

I was a previous student of Marquis Education, the company has boosted my confidence with their maths and english lessons. My teacher, Zuhayer was a teacher that had faith within each student and respected all his students' learning needs.

I enrolled my children with this organisation based on reviews posted online, as well as information provided on their website. It has been largely a disappointing experience for my children. I have contacted the organisation on a number of occasions and provided feedback as well as requested responses to my queries. This review is based on my overall experience:
- A lot of the reviews online have been posted by students at the centre, who were prompted to write favourable reviews. In return, the students were provided non-monetary incentives such as stress balls.
- There is a constant churn of the tutors at the centre. This causes disruption to the students, including in terms of continuity of the teaching process. New tutors obviously take time to understand and effectively assess the students learning needs, and this conversely has a detrimental effect on the students learning.
- The centre changed its teaching structure in 2023, whereby class times were reduced. In return, families were advised that additional support could be access for homework, etc by attending a separate session with a tutor. However, my child was never able to attend this separate session as the only day on which it was scheduled happened to clash with his other lesson at the centre. Effectively, my child was never able to avail himself to the full suite of learning that had been promised.
- My child did not receive his term reports for multiple terms. Despite requesting this, the reports were never provided.
- My child's results in school went backwards significantly since he started going to Marquis. The whole purpose of tutoring is to help and enhance the learning of a child - unfortunately, this has not eventuated for my child at Marquis.
- When my child requested help from his tutor, he was advised to go and look for the answers on Google classrooms.
- My child, as per Marquis instructions, advised his tutor in advance, of an upcoming school examination. His tutor responded AFTER the examination.
- There has been no effective mechanism for seeking feedback about your child. Requests have to be sent in writing. Often, emails sent have not been attended to until phone contact with the centre has been made. Email responses sent back have often been meaningless, ineffective and have not satisfactorily address the issues raised.
- When I initially enrolled my children at Marquis, end of term one-on-one feedback sessions were hosted by the tutors. This has ceased, and written term reports are now provided as the only form of feedback. These term reports are brief, and are too late if your child does not have satisfactory performance at the centre.
- On one occasion, the head of the centre berated a tutor in front of the students in the classroom.

Allow me to express my utmost satisfaction with Marquis Education. The tutors' brilliance shines as they effortlessly break down intricate subjects into understandable knowledge. Beyond the improved grades, their guidance ignited a newfound confidence in my learning journey. I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I haven’t been able to learn anything as when the higher ups, especially when the founder Abi comes through those doors both students and teachers feel threatened and uncomfortable she will just walk inside the building and start screaming at students and teacher, for doing nothing this must change ASAP

My marks have improved significantly and I consistently achieve in the A range thanks to my tutor Zuhayer and the valuable content taught at Marquis Education.

Marquis has significantly increased my academic potential. Since I joined marquis education, I went from E’s and D’s to A’s and B’s. Zuhayer is the most wonderful teacher, encouraging me to do my best everyday.

Since joining Marquis education I have significantly improved my academic abilities with my English tutor Zuhayer assisting me to achieve a 96% on my test at school.

Please don't waste your money on this "tutoring" centre. There's no tutoring going on, I sit for hours teaching my son while going through the homework because there's no explanation given in class. They expect 12 year olds to sit in lecture style classes for 2 hours concentrating till 9pm! After 2 hours I would expect a child to learn a lot, but he learns nothing. There's no contact person, email address nor phone number given to follow up on queries, just happy to take your money!

Had worst experience at marquis bellavista. My daughter went for a trial lesson and was left on her own in seprate room throughout the lesson to learn on her own without any supervision, and on asking you simply get "sorry". This place is a money making busines. Please do proper research before enrolling your child.
What a great response from you when review is on social forum. Sonal was not abusive at all as i was present during every phone call coversation. Its very easy to throw the blame. Despite of shikha's trial lesson you guys didnt even reach out to us to discuss the feedback untill sonal call.
Why it was not discuss during booking shikha trial lesson that she will be in different class and no supersivion was provided as this was confirm by your staff Rakin, i can also provided you further evidence if require.
So please try to fix the problem so other parents dont go through same experience as us instead justifying yourself on social media.

This place is one of the best places for tuition that I have ever been too. I would highly recommend this place too anyone who wants to succeed in high school.

I have been studying at Marquis Education for 2 years and the students and educators are so nice. The educators are fun and teach the content in an interesting manner making me enjoy the subject even more. The content is very relevant to school and my school grades have been improving ever since I joined.

This place is really helpful with your work in English and maths, The quality of this place is really nice and especially the people and the tutors. A teacher suggestion is Naomi for English. This place helps you with your assignments and school homework.

Since starting in year 7, Marquis Education has helped me develop my English and literature skills. My teacher has helped me with my assessments, developing my analysis skills for both written texts and visual texts as well with classwork in general. I have noticed that Marquis tends to study texts before they are taught in class which has really helped reinforce my knowledge of a particular text and topic. The text that we learn about each week shows me how to write a better text myself and how the techniques in a text should be used. My understanding of English is improving every single day because of Marquis.

Marquis Education is a very professional environment with teachers of great quality of teaching. The resources are very helpful in assisting my understanding of course content.

The teachers are enthusiastic and make me want to learn more. The work helped me during school and has made my English marks shoot up.

Great teachers and material with a positive and motivational atmosphere. Highly recommend going here. My tutor was really nice and i enjoyed going here.
