I've been going to Chiropractor's ever since I was 16. I've definitely seen my fair share of chiros to say the least. The last 5yrs there's been a decline in my mobility and huge increase in the amount of chronic pain. I have pain in my Neck, Thoracic spine with chronic Cerviogenic headaches along with pain in all costovertebal joints, lower back and also Sciatic pain down to the ankle.
I was a little optimistic about seeing a new chiro especially fairly young ones as as alot of younger Chiro's tend to use i guess the activator technique and my body prefers the old school manual adjustments. I feel I get most relief from this method of practice.
Past experience with other chiro's when I have tried to explain that I know my body and how it responds to the adjustments weren't exactly heard which was a little upsetting as I would be in pain again the next day and felt that I've just wasted my money.
Zac, really did listen to how I wanted to be treated and took everything on board so I've continued my treatment with Zac and his really the first chiro in over 10yrs that has kept my migraines at bay and currently working on my sciatic pain.
Zac has proven that it's not about younger or older chiro's, it's about finding the right chiro who is willing to really listen to the client. Everyone is different, may have similarities but the same approach doesn't always necessarily work for everyone.
Treatment can get expensive and I find the price is very reasonable as well as making appointments with short notice. I am never turned away which is reassuring.
I'm definitely alot happier knowing that I've found the right chiro.
