Mark Taylor Oval reviews
24Went for work but the job the boys are doing it will be a significant upgrade to what infrastructure was already there.
The oval is still under renovations. People can still use footpath around the oval for walks and run. Children's playground is not affected.
I always run to, around or past this oval. I can't wait till the new turf is laid so I can take off my shoes and run barefoot in the daylight!
Play area very congested.my son get injured quit few times, near to slide there is big see saw swing.he bump there and get serious injury.council need to remove that see saw swing
A place that is very dear to my heart! Home of the only premier level sporting club on the upper North shore and Hornsby area, Northern District Cricket Club.
Such a great oval. The grass is amazing!
Plenty of parking in the adjacent streets. Great kids playground next to oval too.
Footpath around the oval for people to walk. Very busy on summer evenings.
Lovely suburban ground with 1st Grade Premier Cricket being played. Would be wonderful if ATF fence that has been up for at least 12 months was removed.
I did a walk with my wife around the oval and we spoke of our thoughts. We are old and slow but still love each other. This is what Mark Taylor oval gives my family. You can't buy that love at Coles and Woolworth
Good outdoor space. It's got a walking track around the outside of the oval fence which is fully sesled and wide. New playground to the north end and PCYC has a cafe for coffee at the other end.
Well maintained cricket ground in Waitara. Nice place to play with kids when there are no cricket matches going on.
It’s a nice park where kids can play in their little play area and adults can go around the oval for walking or jogging! I always see people playing in the actual oval - cricket or rugby or something! The oval has chairs and also viewing places for watching matches happening in the ground and there is cafe nearby to chill out as well!
Love coming here for a run or for a stroll. There is a kid’s playground which I am sure is enjoyable. Good facilities for water and toilets. Always see a cricket team or rugby team practicing/playing a match.
Popular grounds for use by Hornsby Rugby Union and Cricket clubs as well as schools and general public for recreational activities, next to newly built PCYC recreation facility, and newly constructed Waitara club Tennis Courts.
Very nice grade cricket ground. Recently added a Police Citizens Youth Club and tennis courts and a park currently being installed as at December 2018.
Classic suburban Sydney cricket ground, maintained in excellent condition and used as the home ground for Northern Districts Cricket Club in the Sydney Grade Cricket competition. Well maintained oval is a credit to the grounds staff. Numerous seats around the ground are a pleasant spot to spend a summer Saturday watching the game and the Blue Gum Hotel is a 5 minute walk away. Immediately adjacent is the Hornsby PCYC for those wanting more physical activity.
Very fair neat & clean place for morning or evening walk & safe for children playing or outdoor activities, & good playground for youth & enjoying various youth competitions.
Really nice oval with additional features around the edges, like table tennis, swings, training facilities. Regular cricket games to watch on weekends. Every night there are kids and families playing on the oval. The grass is well maintained, too. Cafe nearby.
Excellent facilities and oval for training and just having a good summer evening playing touch footy or kicking a ball around.
Good facilities but don't dare go here on a Saturday with your kids or dog. Place is full of arrogant and unfriendly cricketers and fans who believe that no one else has the right to use the park. Douchebags patrolling the footpaths telling you to get out of the way.
