Marcel Towers Holiday Apartments

We stayed on the weekend. The rooms were lovely, views amazing and the staff were brilliant.
We used the free Kyacks and went across to the island and had endless fun reeling in fish.
The only downfall was the stairs. But we will definitely go back and stay. We have also recommended to family and friends. Beautiful place.

Ants, ants and more ants. But they are all dead.

On the kitchen top and floor, in the shower, in bedrooms. If you are lucky you'll find some of them alive and crawling.

This place is cute. A cozy, retro-like apartment, feeling a bit more like home then a weekend get away. Do not get me wrong, it's a nice place to just sleep at night while during the day you make use of the river situated right in front, by swimming, kayaking, fishing or just admiring.

Just personally having dead ants everywhere in plain sight was not something i felt welcomed to, especially for the price.

Also just to add the sunsets are beautiful

Older style apartments, slap bang across the road from the Nambucca River. They provide kayaks & snorkel gear for guests. Pity we came in winter.

In our first room, the hot water service had packed it in. They moved us to another room, which was just as comfy.

Great location close to the V Wall, the V Wall Tavern, and an easy walk to the Wharf Street Cafe.

It's not the Hilton, but it's clean, and you can't beat the location.

Amazing. Fantastic view. Clean and comfortable. It’s not the Marriott with older curtains but the location is superb. Walking most places is easy. It’s cooler facing south so take your warm dressing gown, bring a champagne stopper and shower gel. We will definitely return. Thank you Jess

Lovely suite overlooking the river. Really good value and super clean. The friendly staff really make you feel at home.

Friendly staff, excellent location, clean and tidy, spacious, self contained apartments, with the most comfortable beds you will ever sleep in, dog friendly, there is nothing not to like about this place.
The location is perfect, of a night you can here the ocean from the balcony and the view spectacular, brilliant, amazing.
Give it a go you won’t regret it.

This place gets great reviews for a very good reason, it's run well, friendly staff, very clean/ tidy and is located in an excellent spot with beautiful views. We'll definitely be returning, many thanks to the managers and cleaners.

Great location and very helpful staff. Nearly kept driving south the next day but the manager told us where to check the surf and we ended up having a good surf as well. Room was a good size, clean and pre warmed for our arrival. Stoked. There’s also canoes for use as well. Will be back for sure.

The staff were very friendly. The view from the balcony was great. The room was well appointed and the bed was comfy. We had our fur baby with us and he had a great time watching everyone go by! Have already booked again for next year!

Great spot reasonable price! Reminiscent of an Entrance or South Coast vibe a beautiful escape from Sydney in a great location. Close by to town centre and the beach. Had friendly service from the staff and super comfortable.

The best view. The apartments are ageing and could do with an update. But they have all you need.

Stayed for 3 nights, we were upgraded to a 2 bed unit when we arrived. Unit was spacious, clean and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable. All apartments have a spacious balcony overlooking the water (see photos). Staff very helpful and friendly. Units provide free use of kayaks, dinghies, SUPs, snorkelling equipment etc. Best time to use kayaks is high tide as current and eddies harder at low tide.

Arrived almost two and a half hours after closing, and the man was still here to greet us with a smile and a lovely personality! The apartment is beautiful, very clean and very spacious. Great little balcony for a cuppa and a cigarette in the morning, very clean bathroom and kitchen with a tv in both the lounge room and the bedroom. Everything has been thought of, with plenty of appliances in the kitchen, with a fridge/freezer, not like a bar fridge that most have! Free, fast wifi, even an extra bed if needed. It’s so lovely here and I’m excited to come back when I’m up this way next!

Thank you so much for having us, at such short notice we thought it might be difficult but it went as smoothly as possible. Super chill, and plenty of things to do. Definitely recommend a stay at this beautifully located apartment.

Dude this place is amazing, this is not just a room but a whole apartment that is set out so nicely like I feel so at home. We arrived in the later hours of the evening to be greeted personally by an extremely nice fellow, beyond professionalism he was just a nice person. Something we are lacking these days, are people that are kind and welcoming so I was extremely pleasantly surprised with this guy. I was stoked to walk in the door and see everything immaculate, and smelling clean. There’s a whole kitchen, and a huge space with lounges and an extra bed. There are two tvs, one in the living room, one in the bedroom. Bed is large and comfortable, linen is clean and soft. Bathroom is immaculate and nicely presented as well as having a nice summer beach vibe going on. Walking up the stairs to the room there were book shelves stacked with books available for guests. Good books too. I didn’t realise the space would be so big for the price, which I feel is fair, they could probably charge more to be honest. There are kayaks and other things like surfboards and stuff available, when I asked how much, they said they are just there for the guests to use which is absolutely amazing considering just across the road, from sitting on my balcony I can see a beautiful river. There are nice comfy lounges in the room, and an air conditioner that works great. There is a nice kitchen and a good s sized balcony to sit and look across the water. This place is extremely nice and accommodating I give it 5 stars. Couldn’t find a single fault if I tried, and why would I want to? This place is beautiful.

What lovely apartments with stunning river and ocean views... Right from your lounge room and balcony! The river mouth (V Wall), Shelly Beach, coffee shop and the local hotel are all just a short walk away. We saw dolphins on one walk. The owners (Penny and Richard) were great hosts and couldn't have been more helpful. We hope to return. A must stay.
