The best walking track to do in Sydney surrounded by nature and beautiful paths. I have been four times and never disappointed. If you can go on sunny days you will see the most wonderful color of the sea, the views are great and if you are lucky you will see some animals along the way.

It's a pretty long trial for the people who don't prefer long walks and enjoy short trials. I honestly enjoy every step of this trial and the view that I was able to encounter was so beautiful and exquisite. It's not that busy so you can walk on your pace viewing the scenery all around. I absolutely recommend this trial.

My first coastal walk in Sydney and it was amazing. I was really surprised by amount of nature within the city and how well its marked and guided. Combine it with walk around Manly and the day is covered!

The Manly to Spit Bridge Coastal Walk is a delightful bush walk that meanders along the coastline, offering stunning views of the beach and ocean.

The trail is generally easy to walk, although there are some slippery sections to be cautious of. It's a must-visit for nature lovers seeking a scenic and enjoyable coastal walk.

We did this walk last week, on a beautifully sunny day (before the rain arrived a few days later!). It was something we’d wanted to do for years but, for various reasons, it hadn’t happened. This trip to Sydney we made it a priority - we are getting older, not younger! The walk took us longer than the 3 hours lots of reviews gave, but we took our time, stopped to admire the continually changes views and landscape, take photos etc- also stopped for coffees and delicious muffins at Clontarf beach kiosk! Be prepared for steps (up as well as down!) and some rocky patches, but overall not a difficult walk for anyone who is reasonably fit. We were so glad we finally did that walk - a highlight of our trip to Sydney.

It was so lovely to do this walk on a sunny winter day. Stopped numerous times to just be in the moment and take in the absolutely magnificent views so it probably took me much longer. As I was here on holiday and in the low season, trail was peaceful. Highly recommend to take some packed food and eat along the way.

Catch ferry from Circulay Quay to Manly, end point is bus stop on the Spit Bridge.
Nice route for hiking with friends during weekend.
Remember to wear hat+water+sunscreen for about 3 hours walk.

Overrated. May be good relative to other walks in the immediate vicinity of Sydney but if you're comparing with other walks in Australia this one is not worth doing. The middle part around Dobroyd and Clontarf is full of stairs and is very muddy even when it hasn't been raining for days. Some of the stairs are built such that they trap rainwater indefinitely, which is baffling.

The walk was relaxing and good. There are many restrooms along the way. You can either choose to go through the beach (along the sea) or take the path above the beach. The view was amazing and there are good resting points (sitting benches in the lookout).

The road was a bit muddy due to the rain yesterday so beware of that.

By far the best city walk I have EVER been on, the surroundings and views are simply stunning given you're not that far from the city centre. It's not a difficult walk, though I would not recommend doing it in flip flops (ahem, thongs). Also keep in mind that about half of the walk is under direct sun, despite what it may look like on the Spit side, so pack a big bottle of water.

Excellent walk for minimum moderate fitness level & remember to carry drinking water if you want to go the distance

Good moderate walk - lots of stairs but this is due to terrain. Views spectacular and plenty of shade and places to rest.

Remember doing this walk 17 years ago while visiting Sydney. Met a huge water dragon thing on the path!

One of the classic Sydney walks and well worth the effort. About 10km long, commencing at Spit Bridge and finishing at Manly Wharf. A grade3 track that is unsuitable for prams etc and dogs are prohibited in the National Park areas including Dobroyd Head. Some indigenous rock art, great views of the harbour and other areas make the walk well worth it. Pack lots of drinking water.cafes at either end.

It was a pretty good walk. There’s plenty of places along the way to get food. I have a swim around the 6km mark. Very pleasant. Remember to bring water and a little trail mix

The Manly scenic walk from Spit bridge to Manly leads through different vegetation. The view over the surroundings of Sydney is terrific and finally the cool sea greets you.

Great walk for all levels of fitness! You can even run. Great for sunny days with stops for swimming or cloudy cold days just for the exercise. Should take between 2 to 4 hours to do one way.

This is Sydney must-do. Catch tthe bus to Spit Bridge from CBD then walk the 10km to Manly before returning via the iconic Manly ferry. The walk has beaches, Aboriginal culture, scenic views and bush trails.
