Manly Andrew Boy Charlton Swim Centre reviews
58One of the best pool that i have seen, and great instructors. They are very professional and very enthusiastic
Clean pools and modern GYM, definitely recommended! Great space to spend time with kids and training. Early mornings get way too busy with Swimming Squads take over almost all of the pools. Sauna is good but also, watch out it gets busy…
Easy parking. Quality refurbished outdoor pools plus great new indoor 25mtr heated pool for all year round lap swimming.
Pool/s temperature a bit too cool (at 24 to 25 degrees today it is a couple of degrees below comfortable).
Best Pool in Sydney by Far, in such a great location! Very nice staff especially the Boss! Food is way to over priced though and closes way too early!
Can't get a better range of swimming facilities from 50m outdoor for the serious ones, 25m indoor and huge small kids pool with small slippery dip, fountains and sprays. From zero depth to about 1m is perfect for learn to swim kids.
Took my 6m for a swim in the kids pool inside. He loved the waterfalls, mushroom sprinklers and various jets. If the weather is nice we usually head outside to the baby pool for a splash and 50 metre pool for a float. Great place for kids (and adults).
Love this place only downfall the parking for swimming lessons and the lack of family change rooms for such a family orientated place just not enough.
Clean with a quick turnaround of swimmers. Spacious and doesn’t have that overwhelming warmth for spectators:)
The pool itself is excellent.however I was attending the pool for the first time and had an expensive towell stolen after I'd only gone swimming in the pool for 10 minutes! Shockingly disgraceful!
The Staff Are Really Nice There
At The Swimming Pool There
Good Place To Go
Easy parking. Quality refurbished outdoor pools plus great new indoor 25mtr heated pool for all year round lap swimming.
First time at this pool and all the staff very helpful and friendly and I will now complete all my swimming training here from now on
Great Indoor / Outdoor pools. Just be careful going early on Saturdays as parking is at a premium especially in winter.
The Pools, Facilities and staff are overall excellent. The outdoor men's change rooms, however, are a different story and are usually disgusting. They perpetually stink of urine as the trough does not flush. Saw it one day almost overflowing. The floor is always covered with what looks like a mixture of mud and exfoliated foot skin to form a disgusting paste when damp. It appears they clean these change rooms once a month, not every day like they should—an unfortunate part of an otherwise wonderful pool.
Great facilities but entry is a bit pricey and the car parking on Kenneth road is a traffic nightmare.
Overly hyped. Reasonable facilities, but kids pool is often closed and the other pools tend to be busy. Parking is also a pain
Lovely pools changing facilities let the place down, only two baby change rooms in the whole place and they are shared with the disabled.
Nice to see this aquatic centre grow over the past decades, however, charging a fee of $4 just to walk in and spectate is just not necessary.
Been swimming at this pool my whole life, and in recent years thats mostly been in the evenings after work. This year they have given the squads an extra lane which means there is one less lane for public use at one of the busiest times of the day. The lanes that are available for the public are now so packed that it's impossible to have a decent swim in them. What a shame, not everyone who swims necessarily wants to be in a squad. Why should the squads get to take over basically the whole pool?
