Best Italian place I've been in my life, I doubt it can be topped. The professional but friendly table service was a pleasure to experience, wines, dish seasonings and condiments performed at the table with authentic style. The range of pizzas, pastas and more was wondrous to pick from. The kitchen was extremely accommodating with altercations and special requests, everything made from scratch and extremely flexibly for dietary requirements.
The prices at Mamma's were very modest, making it very affordable for what they provide.
I will be taking any fine dining company straight back there, and possibly even myself for a treat.

Been here several times and although its pretty expensive for Anzac Parade, the food and service is really good. They have a variety of pasta sauces and you can choose whatever pasta you prefer (including ravioli). The pizza is also really good!

Service was excellent however the place definitely suffers from a lack of employees. The food took far longer to serve, it was good when it eventually made it out of the kitchen but more chefs could have expedited the whole process.

We feel so blessed to have eaten a divine dinner here. Thank you so much Mamma Teresa!

Excuse the photo of the already started fettucini, my husband already started eating it because he couldn't resist, he loved it.

I had gnocchi and OMG it melted in my mouth. Very generous portions and so delicious.

Also I forgot to take a photo of the garlic bread but it was so yummy and soft.

In the restaurant itself, you can also see the chef cooking right there!

Overall, lovely service, fab food, everything was just perfect. Can't wait to be back.

Thank you so much!

We were a group of 20 people, and it was our first time in this identical Italian restaurant, but it will for sure not be the last time!

What a fantastic mouth-watering meal! We ordered see food platter and a wide range of Pizzas and Pastas. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We definitely go back very soon to enjoy the ambiance and the food again.

We went there with friends, very friendly staff, management excellent and chef was authentic enough to cook authentic Italian foods. The quality was excellent and taste something we never forget. It took us back in Italy. Highly recommend if you are looking for authentic Italian food. Pizza was very nice and pasta to die for. Yum yum yum!

The most delicious gnocchi I’ve ever tasted. Light and fluffy pillowy gnocchi, complimented by a rich, creamy garlic sauce. Generous servings with freshly grated Parmesan.
Nicely priced wine. Loads of restaurant space for small and large groups. Unpretentious restaurant, with authentic Italian cuisine.

This comment is not for customers not to go, it is for those who manage this place, improve.

A long time ago I did not go to a place where they sold a food from some country (As a specialty), and it was something completely out of reality. Italian food? Of course, I understand that being in Australia will not give us 100% Italian food like "La Nona" did, but it is known that there is a very large Italian community in the country, and it would be good if you are going to sell an Italian product, respect the minimum.

Let's say I must forget that the restaurant was not Italian, that it was "fusion" or that they adapt to the neighborhood (Kingsford). The food was bad, very bad. Atlantic salmon for $ 28 aud, the dish was a piece of salmon, well cooked, good sauce, but with literal 4 carrot strips, 1 cooked potato and the worst broccoli I have ever seen, we couldn't even cut it; that was not "al dente", it was just raw broccoli, meaningless on the plate.

In my case, I ordered a dish with a very Italian name "Sicily Prawns". The prawns were overcooked, but horrible, I didn't think prawns could be cooked so badly. Followed by a horrible, spicy and sour sauce. To complement, these 5 "king" prowns came with a salad that I think was opened from a bag of woolworths salad, terrible.

But you know, these "special" dishes was not the big problem, clearly they may not have to be 100% Italian. The problem was with our appetizer, although it was not bad, we ordered bruschettas. What they sent us was a pizza dough with tomato, garlic and balsamic vinegar, which I insist, was not bad, but that is not a bruschetta, was super funny (How difficult can a brusquette be, it is literal, a bread)

The service was fine, the girl was very friendly and agile, everything was fine with her. The place too, looks good.

I say this comment objectively, as an Italian and as a person who worked for 7 years in an Italian restaurant: "Mamma Teresa" is not an Italian restaurant.

Great food, but slow and inattentive service.

45 minutes for drinks, over an hour for mains. Served after two other tables who came after. I suspect a lost order, which is fine but no apology or owning up to the mistake.

We’ll be back though, as I said, food was great. I hope it was a blip!

Excellent food and friendly staff.
I had the baby octopus for an entree and the barramundi special for a main. Both were delicious. Mamma's is BYO wine only and we will be going back to sample the rest of the menu.

31Jul 2020, Friday ~12: 30pm. The main drawback is the slightly expensive prices. 18$ for a medium sized Napolitana pizza (see photo) is a bit much. The crust was a bit thinner than my preference, it was a bit too oily and the cheese quickly became a bit chewy. Don't get me wrong, I ate that pizza like there was no tomorrow. And I would go there again in the future. The manager (I think?) was a friendly guy, he came around a few times to check that we were ok or if we needed anything. The inside of the restaurant looks very classy and nice. It's usually quiet with some discreet Italian ambience music loud enough to enjoy it while still easily having a conversation. It usually isn't crowded. Note to self: go for the vegetarian next time. 11-Sep-> vegetarian is also good. Service great as usual. Note: can ask for thicker crust.
