“Malman did a great job to build our beautiful Balinese modern house in Newcastle. We are extremely satisfied with what they have done for us.
They accepted the challenge to work with lots of details in the house while many other builder just rejected our plans straight way.
Even more they were willing to learn something new with the concept of Balinese house that they have never done before. Jeff & the project manager came with us to Bali so they could get a better understanding of our requirements, and also to have look the materials we ordered in Bali prior to shipping.
The result of their hard works are just stunning. We couldn’t believe just how well they have done and they have truly made our dream home come true. The skills of the Malman team were absolutely remarkable.
Malman’s great job has also been recognized by many of our friends who have visited our home as they always have comment, ” Wow, Wow and Wow. Even by many stranger who pass by our house as they actually stop for a while to see the front of our house. “.

We also happy the way the Malman team worked, they showed their passion and have good communication with us and also the neighbours. We owe many thanks to Nigel (supervisor) who did a great job of looking after the details day by day during the build process.

For several months now, we have been enduring works undertaken by this firm.

We are woken 6 days a week with building noises and their workmen and sub contractors are totally inconsiderate of the neighbouring residents.

My wife underwent major surgery in April and needs additional rest to recuperate. The last thing she needs right now is the noise we are subjected to first thing in the morning and the additional stress of what appear to be major building works affecting our lives.

Despite the fact that Council has created a "Construction Zone" and that we have made numerous requests via the Council, their workmen and contractors continue park their vehicles in and over our driveway, making life difficult for us.

As a result of my wife's surgery, we have a community nurse visiting three days a week and we need to provide her with reasonable access. The only place she can park is in our driveway and since workmen's vehicles are often parked outside from early morning, we have to park our car elsewhere to ensure we can accommodate her car- Sometimes, we have to park as much as 60 to 100 metres from our house.

The works have also taken forever to complete - so long in fact that an entirely new building could have been constructed faster.

In short, I would not recommend this builder to anybody.

Malmans are the best. We have worked with them over the past six months in a purpose fit out of New Lambton Veterinary Clinic at our new site. They have been totally professional, helpful and thorough in everything they do. We can't recommend them highly enough. Awesome all round!
