Madam Choi reviews
31We indulged in a late lunch on Australia Day, and despite the bustling hour, the waitress graciously guided us through the restaurant's signature dishes with patience. We wholeheartedly recommend trying the butter prawns and the delectable homemade prawn toasts. Our experience was delightful, and we thoroughly enjoyed both the food and the atmosphere of the restaurant.
I never imagined experiencing such a delightful and hospitable restaurant like this. Everything from the food to the service was thoroughly satisfying and delicious, from start to finish.
Food is the best Asian cuisine you will ever see in Australia, customer service is very friendly and atmosphere is welcoming to people old and new. If you go to Thirroul, go here!
Great salt and pepper eggplant and amazing customer service from the short asian girl with glasses!
Really love this restaurant: D Staff are friendly, quick to serve, and always willing to help. Well-decorated and clean, I love dining at night! On top of that, the menu is HUGE – there is so much to choose from, and I always spend too long deciding haha. Highly recommend!
Came back for dinner a few times already. Love the San choy bow, salt&pepper prawns, black pepper beef, and especially the butter prawns there. Great foods and services as always. A must try in the area!
The fact that this place provides a separate menu for Gluten Free and Vegan makes me sad that I can only give 5 stars. Very well presented and delicious menu options for all. Thank you Madam Choi!
Consistently amazing here, thank you so much. Absolutely the best food and service for miles?
Good vibe, friendly staffs, satisfying food what more can you ask:)
To those recommend the Malaysian butter prawn, thank you all!
Lightly battered crispy king prawns covered in sweet, light soy sauce. My mouth is watering right this moment just by thinking about the dish. Not to mention my husband and I had to fight over who will be finishing the left over black pepper beef. Still taste nice when you are having the next day at home.
The food is so beautiful and fresh. Staff are very friendly and they smile all the time. I will definitely be back for sure
Really our enjoyed our meal last night, every dish was delicious! Great food and great friendly service, thanks.
What awesome food. Everything we ordered was delicious. Definitely will be back and spread the word. Keep up the good work.
Absolutely brilliant. Top quality food & service all at a affordable price. Our kids love it too!
Meh.
Service was ok but food was decidedly mediocre. Beef Chow Mein was bland with chewy tasteless meat - we didn't bother finishing it.
Duck spring rolls contained very little (if any) identifiable duck.
Salt and pepper pork ribs were okay but the portion was more in-line with a starter than a main.
We ended up going to the pub over the road for a dessert and that was the highlight of the night.
We ordered salt & pepper tofu, coconut and lime soft shell crab and duck pancakes for entree. Every dish spectacular. My only regret not being able to eat inside the actual restaurant! Food was hot by the time we got it to our holiday house. Thank you Madame Choi we will be returning the next time I have Chinese food cravings!
We went there the other night after not having been there for a couple of years. The picture of my food looked nothing like what I ordered, I ordered garlic prawns and I got prawns covered in batter with a stringing cheese type thing. The dumplings were amazing and I wish I had just ordered two servings of those. The salt and pepper squid was in my friends words " looked like leftovers" as the serving was absolutely tiny and it was quite chewy. The service took quite a while so don't go on the weekends as there are usually shows on and thirroul gets busy. Overall it was just ok, many items where much too expensive for their serving size and super slow service on weekends.
We love this place for a family friendly dinner. We often go here with our two little ones and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Their noodles are the best in the area.
Just happened to come across Madam Choi after other dinner plans fell through.and I'm glad they did. The food was amazing! So good that we got take away for left overs. Will definitely return!
I had a fabulous time tonight. I love their gailan and barramundi and the prawn clear soup was sensational! The owner Alice was so lovely and kind hearted. I can't wait for my next visit to my favourite restaurant in Thirroul!
Loved it.service was a little slow.but food made up for it. Very friendly staff.you will love the food.
