Macpac Adventure Hub Camperdown reviews
46Great selection of Macpac and other brands. Have sales very regularly. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Large store with lots of camping and outdoor gear.
Probably is my favourite Macpac shop in Sydney. The service is always top-notch, friendly and helpful. The shop itself is actually quite nice, I end to get lost in browsing and looking around for items. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.
The lady who was working 20/07 around 4pm was sooo friendly and helpful. I’m super thankful! Thank you!
Excellent service provided by the team, especially Felix, who is incredibly knowledgeable and gave us many tips for a multiday hike!
Cheaper than their Birkenhead outlet! They have a larger clearance section and the prices are better. They also have stock of other brands as well
Place has good collection of items. But si called claim about what special on "Adventure Hub" stores is a joke. There is no specialist support person staff here to be honest.
Person who help regarding choosing a hiking shoe has less knowledge than me who gathered some info by watching a YouTube video. Some of the the things he mentioned also wrong.
Visited again, but unfortunate same experience as earlier. No staff to help other than two in the counter.
Everyone else walking ib the floor looking distance to avoid any contacts and pretending to be busy. I'm older enough to take that as kids joke
I rocked up knowing I would be a very difficult customer with my feet that don't agree with many shoes. Maddie was incredibly, absolutely patient, bringing out so many different sizes and models, constantly checking in to see how I was going and how well they fitted. She was so calm despite me getting quite frantic and worked up as time was running out, as 100 minutes at the store with over ten pairs of shoes to sort, try, compare, shortlist and eventually find the pair that best fitted, went very quickly. Maddie even stayed back after the store closed as I took time to decide between three models that were so difficult to find which worked best. So glad to have had Maddie serve me and put up with all my indecision, and stay back to give me a little bit more wiggle room upon deciding on the winning pair.
Excellent customer service for shoes/boots on a Sunday. Staff knew their products and were super helpful. Managed to help several people at once. Well done indeed.
Limited to mostly their own brand, which is priced similarly to larger brands.ie it feels expensive for quite generic travel gear. Still, the own brand stuff has a nice minimalist design. Sizing doesn't go small enough though, much like a lot of travel gear stores.
After going to the Birkenhead store, where I was bitterly disappointed with the staff, who seemed more interested in socialising with each other. I called the Camperdown store where I was looked after by a young guy named George. He put the products aside for me and managed to turn around what going to be a poor experience into a very positive one. Great to see that you can still get good retail service!
Situated on Parramatta Rd, in Camperdown. It has most of your camping needs. Friendly staff and good service.
Place has good collection of items. But si called claim about what special on "Adventure Hub" stores is a joke. There is no specialist support person staff here to be honest.
Person who i as led help regarding choosing a hiking shoe has less knowledge than me who gathered some info by watching a YouTube video. Some of the the things he mentioned also wrong.
Helpful staff easy going and they know their stuff. They don't pressure you they educate you on what they sell.
Might spell his name wrong but Sherri's customer service was fantastic, helped me track and obtain an out of stock item from another state within a few days. Would recommend.
Custom service is impeccable. The retail team is amazzzzzinngggg! Knowledgeable and always happy to help out with any enquiry. Very covid safe store.
Great. Staff helpful and friendly got what I was there for. Special thank you to Dean for his help and advice.
We have just left macpac Camperdown after spending a considerable amount of time with Ally trying on hiking boots. We came in with a little bit of an idea and left with a wealth of knowledge and two boots each to consider.
Ally is a generous, experienced skilled hiking boot specialist. Ally brings 6 yrs experience to her role at macpac which is complimented with a life time of hiking and trekking. Ally’s product knowledge is outstanding, her customer service skills put the customer at the front and centre of her work. First rate experience, thanks Ally. Colleen & Brian
Huge store with almost everything offered by Macpac. Staff ready to help. Would’ve got 4 stars if the escalator wasn’t driving people nuts with the incessant thumping.
Spent far too much time checking everything out and there are 3 storeys to check out, clothes, shoes, backpacks and a huge choice of other all kinds of accessories.was hard to make a choice.
Loved their children's clothing
Great store for all your general adventure, camping and hiking needs. Tents located on top floor!
