Macleay Valley Veterinary Services reviews
35The staff were so friendly and caring - it really was 5 + star service. Could not praise highly enough
They were very good and looked after my dog very well couldn't be more happy with the service.
The vets at this practice are caring and empathetic. They go above and beyond in their care of our pets and I am very glad they are our vets. Maureen and Kevin
Absolutely great vets here. Caring, compassionate, very knowledgeable. The ONLY good vet practice in kempsey.
They were able to fit us in for an emergency visit for our pup. Very helpful, knowledgeable and able to communicate what was being done to correct the issue and how to prevent it in the future.
Would recommend to anyone in the area.
Staff are knowledgeable and always friendly. It's nice to know your pet is always well looked after, and happy to walk in the door without needing to be dragged in. Highly recommend all the team at MVVS
Big thanks to Vet Zygi and team for their wisdom and care to help my brother's dog survive and recover from a paralysis tick bite! So encouraging to see him walk out of the vet on a lead, not a stretcher, despite loss of leg strength when he was brought in. After chicken and rest, two weeks later, he's now going for longer walks again. Big thanks to this team!
We feel so blessed to have found this vet when bad luck struck both our dogs on the same day with two really bad injuries.not only did they come in on a Sunday to help they helped both dogs in the same consult, they were so so friendly and so so helpful and care about the animals more than the money, we honestly couldn't be happier with the care they are giving our two fur babies
I've just dropped off my little dog for dental work with the beautiful Shea, who looked after her a week ago in the South West Rocks office. As dental work can be really expensive I was prepared for the worst. The quote I got was a pleasant surprise. When I remarked on it Shea said they always cap dental work at $900, regardless of how much chargeable time it takes. I've been to other vets who don't have the same consideration for pet owners. This is a great business and in so pleased I was recommended to come here. I have 3 dogs and Evie, the little white one, is having the dental work done today.
Our gratitude and thanks to Campbell yesterday. He helped us through a heartbreaking moment with our much loved cat, Millie. Campbell was kind, gentle and caring making the process easier. Thank you so much.
These guys are very professional and organised and have looked after our dog very well. I would highly recommend.
I am thankful, always, after 20 yrs of helping me managing my range of animals, vets & associated staff couldn't have been more helpful & accommodating, WHENEVER an emergency ️
Thank you
I will always recommend Macleay vets

The absolute best. Mark is an angel of a person. He goes above and beyond and gives the best care. You can tell just how passionate he is about his job and how much he loves animals.
400 bucks to get stitches and antibiotics/pain killer for a 5kg cat.i nearly died! I asked if i could pay it off like i have in the past and wouldnt let me.been there for years and payed all my bills off!
Should be more stars. Can't recommend enough. Thanks to the help and care given at a time when we needed to put our 15 year old jack russell terrier down due to cancer. It was a hard thing to do. Thank you for not charging us for the sunday call out. So much appreciated.
Friendly and understanding staff and Vet Tim is lovely. The only thing I wish was different is that I have a very nervous cat and sitting in the waiting room with noisy dogs is traumatic for him. It would be good to have a "quiet area" for shy cats and dogs.
Other than that cannot recommend enough.
Have had to call on the team at short notice a few times now. Could not ask for a more caring and helpful group of people. Highly recommend Macleay Valley Vets.
Do they allow volunteer work here for high school students, or is there another place where I could possibly volunteer at to get experience with looking after animals?
Actually I was paying something that night but when I said I didn't have all the money he's response was disgusting. Basically said we'll I can't help at all because people that have all the money are put first and didn't care about the animals. Rang the other vet got straight in they were absolutely amazing to deal with. Again would never take any animal to this vet for any reason absolutely disgusting funny thing is quiet alot of people I spoke to in kempsey about it will not take there animal's to him for that reason
