machi machi reviews
40Fast and very friendly service. You can adjust the sweetness. I personally went with no ice and no sugar option - I liked it. The black milk tea with Tarp Balls. Amazing. Thank you. The place was busy, but they serve very quickly.
Waiting for the food is super long, but the flavor is quite special compared to other milk tea brands.
The drink was aight, but the wait time was way to long for 1 drink, worker didn't even give a receipt they just told me my number, 13 customers ordered after me and got there drinks. I don't understand why it takes over 17mins to make a single fruit drink and when I went up to ask for it myself they ask for a receipt. Would not recommend.
I had to wait for nearly 15 min to get my order. There were long wait times although not a lot of customers. The drink I ordered was as geimicha ice tea. Was alright. A bit too pricey for what I got. Unsure if I want to try more here.
Drinks are good though pricey. Service isn't good. I ordered a drink in the bottle without knowing I can change sugar levels (assumed it was pre packed drinks). The staff appeared impatient and didn't explain and just repeated her question of whether or not I wanted sugar.
Also, I gave her $10.50 for a $9.50 drink and she gave me back $1 in smaller coins.
Worst experience ever. Didn’t ask me about the choice of sugar and made it extremely sweet
I visited Machi Machi on April 6th, Thursday evening and ordered a drink, but unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing, Machi Machi used to be my favourite bubble tea store but after this experience, I don’t think I would visit again. Despite waiting for more than 40 minutes, my number was still far from being called, and I was already late for my appointment. I requested a refund from the cashier as I could not wait any longer, but I was told that it was not possible to refund me as I paid by card. I asked multiple times about the wait time, but the cashier couldn't give me an estimated time. In the end, I had to leave Machi Machi without my drink and take an Uber to my next appointment because I was running late from waiting indefinitely for my drink.
It is unbelievable for someone to wait for more than 40 minutes for a cold drink, and I was not the only one complaining. I would appreciate an apology and refund from the management. Furthermore, I believe that the cashier should have been more accommodating to my request for a refund, regardless of the payment method. If I knew the wait would take this long for a drink, I would have never chose to come to Machi Machi, only to leave with no apology, refund or an explanation for this appalling service.
Also I can see in the reviews from other people that I am not the first person to have complained about the long wait time at this store. I hope if you are actually apologetic about this service then you ACTUALLY take concrete steps into improving the customer experience and not just replying with a standard response like " We will put more effort on staff training and hope you have a machi day" every time.
The best experience ever in any bubble tea shops! The girl served me this afternoon is so friendly with patiences!
Good thing their drinks are good because the staff certainly aren’t quite as polite (May she was having a bad day, or managing too many customers) but anywho, we went there late evening and had to wait literally 35 mins for the 2 drinks. Besides the long wait, it’s a cute cafe and I’d definitely recommend the Strawberry crème brûlée.
Machi Machi is a trendy and unique bubble tea shop that has gained popularity for its innovative flavors, creative presentations, and stylish ambiance. As a bubble tea aficionado, I recently had the chance to visit Machi Machi and try out their offerings.
One of the first things that caught my attention at Machi Machi is their impressive menu. They offer a wide range of bubble tea flavors that go beyond the traditional options, with unique combinations and interesting twists. From fruit teas to milk teas, cheese teas to lattes, there's something for every palate.
Waited for 30 minutes. They only have one staff working (taking orders, prep and delivery) but want to get every single dollar out of your pocket.
I'm lactose intolerant so it's great that the bathroom is so close by, enjoyed my boba while shooting boba out my other end.
Everything is good but really slow service took 30 minutes to get 1 drink out. Not even that crowded.
It is a very nice milk tea shop. I buy a mach machi drink everytime when I am in CBD. I like its tast and staff always give good service even though long queue/ very buzy peak time period the girl would tell it amy take longer time to get the drink ready.
40 mins for a normal bubble milk tea on a Thursday night in Sydney. Looks busy but just everyone waiting forever.
Good drinks but unbelievably slow, with no signs of improvement. 1-2 drinks takes close to 5min to prepare which just isn’t good enough.
Either employ more staff or upgrade your equipment.
Very very very bad service! Only a few customers in store but I wait almost 40 mins! Are you guys collect milk from the cow? So bad drink! I ordered less sugar but it tastes like direct drinking sugar!
Waited over 20 minutes for my small drink. I asked for a drink with pearls but it seems like the girl didn’t hear me because when she handed my order it had no pearls LMFAO. When I asked if I could get pearls put in (offered to pay) she refused because of the crime brûlée. Bruh. Never going back
As a boba lover, I vouch for Machi Machi. Love the panna cotta series and the brown sugar boba is just amazing-not to overly sweet and the pearls have the perfect texture, soft but chewy.
Another great thing is additional store in Sydney at Fish Market-Yesss! I honestly give up most of time when I see the queues at the CBD store Having the option to get it from Fish Market is just perfect!
If you're a boba fan, you won't be disappointed
Good drinks but ridiculous wait every time ** update ** it’s better now that everyone’s tried it at the line is shorter:) good for me but not for Machi Machi sorry haha
