We It was so nice to finally go back here for dinner! We always enjoy dinner here! Yummy food as always. Thanks Mustafa for looking after us as always! It's always great to see your happy, welcoming face.

I would eat here again, they cooked the steak exactly how I liked it. Service was very good and quick. The places is more casual dining, not too fancy. Perfect for a quick dinner, date or lunch.

Went to the macelleria restaurant as soon as I arrived in Newtown and it was so good I had to come back another 2 more nights. The food was cooked to perfection and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I recommend going to this restaurant if your in Newtown. Chee hoo

Service was great. The food was amazing as always. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were generous portions and the mash and gravy was amazing (coming from an Irish person). Can’t wait to go back

Came to Sydney for the nrl grand final and stayed in Newton for 5 nights.
We had dinner at Macelleria 3 nights.
A special thanks to Merriete for her friendly, happy and inviting service the second we walked through the door.
The food from the kitchen was outstanding all 3 nights.

We definitely recommend Macelleria restaurant and will definitely be back here next year if my side makes it to the finals.

They cook good steaks. I ordered a dry-aged rump wagyu with some sides and they are delicious. I especially like the sweet potato chips. The price is decent too for this quality of food. I will definitely come back for more.

My partner and I have ate here twice now, both sit in and tonight for take away! The steaks are delicious and the mash is amazing! We cannot fault the food at all!

Steak and lamb cutlets here are some of the best ive ever had.love the concept of an open butchery + restaurant, makes total sense to combine the two! Great food, service, and awesome vibes - i already can't wait to come back here!

Solid meat options, well cooked with good service. This is a big place and the atmosphere is nice and lively when full. Dishes are not innovative relying instead on the meat to take centre stage. It does a pretty good job on that front so no complaints!

If you're after the freshest and the best Beef in the city of Sydney, this place is no doubt up on the top. The hospitality, food and drinks never disappoint. Purely amazing and fills you up as you wish for.
Also they always accommodate you even when they working on full load.

A rare find these days. A butcher style restaurant where you walk in to a window of beautiful cuts of meat ready for your choosing. Went as a group of four - everything came out cooked to perfection. Sides are great value at 2 for 10 with the steaks as they come in quite the portion. Pepper sauce was the bomb too.

It’s not the cheapest place in town if you get seduced by the angus and wagyu on hand but you won’t regret it. Definitely making the trip back to get the tomahawk when I find something to celebrate.

Great variety of meat.good vibes big area.they need more waitresses and waiters because service is great but slow.great quality of food but doesn't arrive hot to the table not even warm.all in all the place is worth visiting and I love the table service and the bill service but they need to improve on speed.

Friendly staff. Kid friendly. Good sized meals and quality ingredients used in the food. You can even buy to take home (as they're a butcher too).

I’m a stingy old avatars so when I first sat down and saw the prices I was sceptical, when I saw the quantity that came I was already getting ready to be cynical, but after the first bite I realised this is the best prepared fresh meat i have had anywhere outside of my old mans back yard! The grill these guys churn out is amazing! Yes it is a bit above average price for the quantity, but it is one of the rare times when the quality undoubtedly justifies the premium. For a good place on the Newtown-Enmore strip these guys are batting way out of their league - they could be charging a multiple of these prices for tiny plates to posh people in town!
And the service is amazing, Mustafa clearly takes a lot of care in his business and of his staff which comes through in the genuine care they show to patrons, couldn’t have been more comfortable being hosted here.

Fantastic food, great service. They have a guy ready to meet you and he's a little overbearing and makes you feel pressured to order before you've even decided to eat there. But the food was great. Can't complain.

This was recommended to me by a friend. My husband and I love a good steak and we were certainly happy with what we ordered. Fast service and friendly staff that were happy to help out first timers.definitely deserves and 2nd visit

Meat was not what i selected, overcooked and the service (2 people on a Friday lunchtime) were unable to deal with orders and expediting for less than 20 people. Decor was nice enough but almost only stools snd they kept the front door open making the place an ice box. Very unfortunate as the place has good potential.

The layout of the restaurant is Urban and friendly, the service is EXCELLENT.everyone is happy and helpful. The food is delicious and fresh. Great place to eat out:)
