M & R Tailoring & Alterations

Had two jackets worked on, one repair and one alteration, both fantastic. Thoroughly recommend.

As a 5'2 woman, pretty much everything I wear needs some sort of alterations. Maher and the his team have altered a number of my clothing items now and I only discovered them a couple of months ago! Maher is honest and meticulous, you never feel rushed as a customer.

I am now a loyal customer and constantly looking at my wardrobe at items that 'doesn't quite fit right' and bringing them into Maher for that magic touch for a perfect fit.

Awesome service, the owner is so lovely and clearly knows what he’s doing. We just had a bunch of pants taken up, but he was able to fit us in on short notice which I’m really grateful for, and he did a great job. I’ll definitely come here in future when I need tailoring

Took my Ambrosi pants to Maher and he did a fantastic alteration job. The pants had a lot of hand stitching and Maher matched the finishing just as good (if not the same) as the original tailor in Naples who made the pants. Very happy and will certainly go back for any other alterations

Mr Meyer of M&R didn't have the courtesy to respond back to his own requested pictures of jacket madel to be sewn. A very disappointing behaviour towards a prospective client didn't expect this of him

I had a made to measurement silk shirt purchased online from a different retailer, that was not to measurements when it arrived. I did not have the time to send it back so I took it in to have it tailored to fit. The team here did an exceptional job. Affordable and quick turnaround - highly recommend.

Maher is a very exceptional tailor who pays attention to detail as he was the only person that could alter my leather jackets in Sydney at well priced.
He delivered within the time frame he suggested with perfection.

Sent my shirt to get it altered (button holes reduced), I asked him to also have it ironed. Told me he would. Received it today completely wrinkled and not ironed/steamed. Instead of steaming it, he tells me how to steam it myself. First time I have received a piece of clothing from an alteration business completely wrinkled. It’s like going to a restaurant ordering steak, telling them you want it medium rare, but they give it to you rare, and then tell you how to cook a medium rare steak yourself at home.

Wonderful, friendly service when I needed some pants altered at late notice. Mayer was incredibly accommodating and the work was top notch. Reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend!

This is the best place to have alterations. Maher is very professional and does his job perfectly, even for complicated one. Highly recommended!
