$185 for alterations on a dress when i could go around the corner for the same alterations for $40 absolute rip off!

Don't go there. A few weeks ago a put a very simple order in. One shirt, dry clean. I said it's tailored, it's important and for a wedding overseas and be careful. Now they ruined this shirt. Before I say anything I think it's important to show just how much these people care. I don't like writing reviews and as angry as I was/am at the situation I emailed the company giving them the opportunity to put it right, because reviews help nobody and mistakes happen. They have not even bothered replying. It's almost impossible to ruin a brand new, worn once tailored shirt, but they did. All the woman behind the counter kept saying was that this is the First time it's happened. I said firstly why do you keep saying that. How does that help me today. I have to find a tailored shirt, in this colour in one day in Erina. I said look at it. It hasn't even been ironed. She then argued that it had. I even tried the shirt on in the Shop, because even through the plastic Cover it looked wrong. The shirt was stiff, creased to hell, collar ruined, shrunk and a pen mark in the middle of the back. I said if you gave this to your assistant (a young girl who was there) to iron and clean and this is what came back.how many out of ten would you give her? She said, zero. Right, but it's ok to give it to a customer I guess. Terrible service and even worse attitude. Don't go near this place. They clearly don't care or care about putting a situation (they created) right. If I thought it appropriate I would swear every second word, because it's how I feel and how angry I am. They should not be in business. By the way, to the idiots that work there.you seemed upset that I might leave a review. Well, you could have avoided it by simply answering my E mail. They took no responsibility for the situation You deserve everything you get.
How do we have a situation where I give you something. You ruin it and there is nothing in the world I can do about it.
Worst dry cleaning I have ever experienced.

If I could give -1 star I would. To say the lady behind the counter was not only totally disinterested but clearly put out when asked if I could drop of some shirts is a huge understatement. The lady immediately starting huffing, puffing, eye rolling. She was totally put out & very rude. I understand people have bad days but …….

They did a decent job. A pocket was missed but was told to take it back to complete repairs to my jacket.

I put a jacket in to have an internal zipper pocket added for security while travelling. I was shown a zipper like that on the jacket. The zipper installed was an awful metal zipper with a really jerky action. Very difficult to use.

Had an emergency with some suit pants the day before a wedding, came into these guys first thing and they had it sorted within half an hour. Highly recommend!

Never, ever again!
I asked to repair a pants pocket & to patch 2 holes. Very expensive,
he didn't fix the pocket cos some stitching had been done before? I said so what, I'd like it fixed. He actually stood and argued for 5 minutes! When I insisted, it took him literally 30 seconds and it was fixed,
and the 2 patched holes only lasted 2 weeks and fell apart again!

I love this place - I’ve had a pair of jeans, leather pants, tailored shirt and pants altered here, and they always do a fantastic job. Lovely and professional service also!

Young Women served me had an atrocious attitude, blamed me for her own mistake, epic failure for customer service, I would be horrified if a staff member of mine spoke to my clients in the manner I experienced,

Lady was really nice and helpful and offered to alter my trousers in one hour. However it was going to take a week to dry clean 2 items, way too long.

We took in a suit jacket to be altered. When we picked it up, they had shortened the sleeves instead of lengthening them! They assured us it could be fixed however when we picked it up a second time, it was not acceptable. You can see the poor quality tailoring from the photos. The buttons were crooked and I'm not sure what they did with the button hole effect but that was gone. They added in two different pieces of fabric to the inner sleeves and it was crooked. There were threads hanging off everywhere. I asked their head office for a refund and a new suit jacket which we were granted. I wouldn't recommend Looksmart.

Took a formal dress in to get tailored it had to be taken up and pulled in around bust plus 2 clips on the halterneck. When hemming the lady didn't listen when i said it needed to go up more so it wasnt dragging on the floor and she ignore me.then proceeded to charge me 190 for the alterations.which i have now found out is a huge rip off.
Secondly when i went to collect my dress it was still to long so i had to once again have it hemmed and when i went to collect the 2nd time round u could see around the zipper and at the sides there was small runs in the dress from the needles.
When i approached staff about this they said oh no its just a crease in the fabric
Way over priced and not carefully with delicate material wont be going there again

Spent $250 on my formal suit pants and they handed it out to the wrong customer. I had to argue to get them back.

I took a $400 jumpsuit that I'd bought over seas to be adjusted. I picked it up and got it out of the car the following day. The tie belt around the jumpsuit was missing. I rang, they said they'd look and call me back. I never got a call back. Worried that I didn't have something so valuable, I went to visit the store the next day to ask in person. They said they looked but couldn't find it. They will do a proper look and call me back. There was no concern, no apology, it was like I was disturbing them.
I didn't receive a call back so two days later I went back again. The lady then told me that any 'scraps' or fabric that's fallen on the ground is cleared off once a week and thrown out. It must be gone. Then she turned around and walked back behind the curtain!
My $400 jumpsuit is now useless. I can't believe a service could be so terrible. Disgusting customer service and such a costly mistake without even an apology.

I always go to Mercie at your Erina store for all my alterations. She does an amazing job and does exactly as I ask her. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mercie for any of your alteration needs. Her work is of a very high standard!

Ok for small unimportant changes but do not let them touch expensive or valuable garments. They do not know how to tailor suits and their work is of a lower quality than the manufacturers. Even the hem they put on my slacks has come undone after only 4 wears.

After being turned away by an “expert” in Woy Woy, I went to Sandra with my tricky task.
Not only did she have it done in record time, but she did an amazing job.
This will be my go-to professional for alterations now.

Extremely fast service at a great price. Have been multiple times over the years and have always left very happy.

I had a wardrobe emergency days out from my wedding, and the girls fixed me up the same day in an hour. Really appreciated!

Sandra went above and beyond today to help me repair my dress. I dropped my dress off at 9.45am and it was ready to pick up by 10.00am. Friendly and efficient service. I highly recommend.
