Can't wait to try more of the menu.
This was my best meal on a 3-week vacation in Australia and New Zealand! We had the $99 tasting menu, which was great value.
The duck in red curry and coconut ice-cream with macadamia brittle were amazing! The chicken wings looked rather ordinary but tasted really good. I only wish they brought back the green curry, which I’ve tried at their Singapore outlet before it closed, and it was the best green curry I’ve ever had!
Service was excellent; the servers went out of their way to understand our dietary restrictions and accommodate us.
Pretty nice Thai restaurant with very unique ambience, food is alright, not a big selection, not suitable for kids with very limited non spicy food.
Overall is not that bad though
Food is bursting with flavour! All our meals were absolutely delicious. The service was attentive and courteous. We enjoyed one of the best Thai lunches I’ve ever eaten!
I’m a regular diner at Long Chim when i visit Sydney. I love the food.
Most recently I was shocked at the price of the pad thai! Previously it was $36 including prawns. Now however they are charging an extra $8 for the addition of prawns! Therefore $44 for prawn pad thai. They are a bit stingy with the amount of noodles.
Massaman beef excellent as usual.
Excellent service, great ambience. The food was tasty but didn’t knock my socks off other than the flank steak.
We, my wife and I have known about David Thompson for quite a while from when he became one of the first westerners to prepare Thai food for the former King of Thailand. This was the first time we went to one of his restaurants, it did not disappoint. Long Chim provide authentic Thai and Royal cuisine.
As a word of warning the Salads in Thai food are hot, chilli hot.
We enjoyed and we're happy with everything in the restaurant and will hopely visit again some time very soon.
I’m Thai but I don’t like the food it’s too sweet I’m not recommended too my friends. Sorry
Food was below average and overpriced in my opinion. I also hate when you enter a restaurant and they tell you when you have to leave by before they even welcome you.
Food and service was on point! Recommend Crab Fried rice and the Barramundi. Chefs kiss!
To polish the night, Coconut ice cream or the Coffee ice cream. AMAZING!
Absolutely a very enjoyable experience. The food was terrific. The Staff were really hands on and helpful. Would recommend Long Chim to one and all.
If your looking for exceptional Thai food you cant find better than Long Chim
Backed up by their wonderful service - I for one will be definitely returning.
Even though the menu is simple our food was still served cold and not fresh. Wait staff were hovering over our shoulders to ask if we were done every few minutes. We stayed 45 mins. Disappointed.
Busy establishment with a lot of customers however the place did not seem overly crowded. Plenty of staff. We had drinks at the bar, next to the open kitchen. The food smelled amazing.
Simple menu. So yum! Kids loved it just as much as us. We just came across it as we were walking around 8pm. We got a cute little booth to sit in without a booking. Will definately be back. Waiter was so attentive and really pleasant. Loved it.
Very unhappy as I was told it was an equivalent to Longrain and it clearly was not. Food was far too hot (spicy), menu was limited, dishes had not mainly sauce and my guests were unimpressed.
Amazing food and really cool venue. Such kind and accommodating staff, would highly recommended!
The service was great but the food was not that special, especially considering the cost. The eggplant salad way too tangy. Lovely atmosphere though.
Delicious meal in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed all three of our dishes - tasty fish cakes, a delicate but spicy nong's eggplant with pork, and a wonderfully aromatic pork belly curry. Just right for lunch before the opera next door at City Recital Hall. Wonderful to have David Thompson back in Sydney!
What a lovely dinner. Food delicious, service attentive. Will be back next time we are in the big smoke. Thank you.
