Beware! - On Saturday 23rd of September, I went to an open home in Savoy Cres, Chester Hill. I spoke with Joe regarding my interest for the property and gave him a verbal offer. I was then advised of a higher offer that had been placed for the home, at which point I increased my offer to $1,210,000 (the eventual sold price) and was advised to wait for an update. When I got home, Joe contacted me on numerous occasions with updates of other interested buyers placing higher offers than me. Resultingly, I increased my offer to 10k more than the eventual sold price and eventually to 15k more than the eventual sold price. Eventually I stopped when I was advised that a keen 'buyer' was willing to offer $1,230,000. I even confirmed this number verbally with Joe, so I was extremely shocked to find out days later that the house had only sold for $1,210,000. Joe completely wasted my time and was very dishonest and lacked transparency. He led me to believe I had a genuine chance at possibly buying the property if I offered a competitive price but as I found out, it was just his selling strategy. I urge potential buyers to avoid Joe and his schemes and potential vendors to reconsider having him manage their property as clearly, he does not have neither party's best interest at heart. I am writing this review to raise awareness so that no one else experinces the same ordeal and because I genuinely feel that the vendor for the property could have gotten more for it. I would give him 0 stars if I could.

As a landlord, this real estate agent handles everything quickly and without a fuss with the least amount of interruption to our tenants.
