Little Beach Boathouse

Could not recommend this place more. The food was incredible, the atmosphere perfect, overlooking the water. The San Choy Bow and Spring Rolls were the highlights of an all round perfect meal. Family friendly as well, we came today to celebrate my wife’s birthday with our two kids and had the best time imaginable.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service. Visited for my sister’s 50th Birthday and every single staff member was warm and friendly. They were happy to take some photos for us, engaged in conversation with us and wished my sister Happy Birthday. They had a great knowledge of the menu. We had every course and could not fault any of the food. Wine choice was spot on - I love Scarborough Chardonnay and the coffee was perfect. Well done to every member of staff for providing such delicious food and serving it so beautifully. Have been here before and loved it, we were pleased that we thoroughly enjoyed our evening again tonight. Honestly have not had such an all round positive dining experience for such a long time. My sister is a chef and super critical, she couldn’t fault the food or service.
Recommend the sourdough, olives, salt & pepper squid, grilled prawns, 3 pigs, lamb, pavlova and choc tart plus the coffee.

Terrific setting/ambiance. Views were awesome. Staff was super attentive. If you want to rush, they will accommodate. In my case, I wanted to "slow roll". They were relaxed.

Food was really spot on. If I had one suggestion, it needed more seasoning.

Definitely recommend.

Advice: make a reservation, they fill up. You can do it online. We arrived in Nelson Bay Wed morning and there were only a few early and late slots. I suspect the weekends are more crowded, so same day would not be an option.

As we were leaving, at 7: 30, people were being turned away.

Awesome little restaurant by the water. Service was amazing and staff were super accommodating. Shoutout to Sherwin! The desserts were definitely the highlight for us.

It's "all in together" at the Boathouse. Good food and service, in a great location. However, if you're looking for a quiet relaxing experience, sans dogs and kids, you may not find it here.

Delicious dining experience fabulous seafood, absolutely awesome location right on the waterfront at Little Beach Port Stephens, inside or outside seating areas, lovely sunlight dining area with views of the azure waters pelicans, swimmers, yachts. Friendly professional staff, great efficient service, ask about the history of the restaurant it’s fascinating. The menu changes but we always enjoyed the chef’s special, superb meals, fine dining and they have their own craft beer which is delicious, and a selection of fine fines to enjoy with lunch or dinner. When we visit PS we always dine here, and then enjoy a sunny afternoon on the tranquil beach. Booking recommended because it’s popular and intimate space, or enjoy a cool drink and tasty snacks from the downstairs bar out on the decking. Free parking, nestled in a sunny cove, it’s a never forget romantic experience. Highly recommended 10/10

Amazing dinner here on a Wednesday night. The customer service is beyond exceptional and consistent. 3 course set menu was great value and great quality.

Best fish and chips in Nelson Bay! Below Deck is under the main restaurant and it has an amazing water view, nice atmosphere with relaxing music and the food is great (not too fat or salty)! Good and quick service as well. I can’t recommend more this place for a nice Fish and Chips.

Great food (I had Market fish which was Mulloway). Drinks selection was very good also. Reasonably priced and nice location. We were there for dinner during winter, but would imagine the location would be more scenic over lunch or in the summer months.

A perfect evening. 3 course offer was excellent value and so yum. Exquisite seafood and desserts to die for. Great cocktails too. Hope to be back soon

Hands down one of my favourite restaurants i have been too. For the money it is worth and big servings. Try the three course meal you will bot regret and also choose of the specials board.

Amazing food and fantastic service, the view for our early dinner with the sun setting over the water was breathtaking.they really went out of their way to make me feel looked after for my birthday.great stuff!

Our greeting at the front door was the start of an amazing experience at this restaurant. The staff were friendly, attentive and knowledgeable and our waiter Sherwin was amazing. The food rivals some of the best seafood we have had in Sydney. Will definitely return next time we are in the area.

Absolutely must visit in Port Stephens. From the most friendly, professional, first class service, to the gastronomic delights that come out of the kitchen, you will be in foodie heaven. I've read that people travel from Sydney just to eat here, we will travel 5 hours from rural NSW to eat here again. Just do it!

Our fourth dining experience at the Boathouse and last Friday evening exceeded all expectations. The service was faultless and the food was exceptional. Always consistent. One of our favorite Restaurants.

Easily the best restaurant in Port Stephen’s, always booked out during peak times, so book ahead so you’re no disappointment.

Great quality local produce, cooked well and served with care and genuine happiness from the floor staff.

Pricing is extremely reasonable and the views over little beach are to die for.
