Lithgow Workies Club Motel

My partner stayed there and forgot something. He called up and talked to the receptionist and told he would come following week and she said she would keep it aside. When he went there to pick it up but they didn’t have it and told him someone could of thrown it away. I was so shocked after I heard this story, this is 4 star hotel.

We stayed here for a few days in early June 2023. The motel is co-located with the club and you will need to come in via the club entrance to check in. All the amenities of the club, including the bistro and cafe, are available without the need to step outside. The motel is however in its own wing and separated from the club requiring your room
card key for access.

The place was neat, tidy and well kept. The room and bed were comfortable, the heating was good, and the hot water was consistent and strong. There are a couple of features to the room that are not typical, including window blinds that seal at the edges for insulation, and a motion sensor light underneath the vanity in the bathroom.

The wifi available throughout the club and motel had good download and upload speeds each of about 90 Mbps.

Parking is out in the open although easy to access, handy to a secure entrance door for the motel, and separate from the balance of club parking.

The main downside is that they will take a copy of your ID at check in. This poses a potential risk of identity theft, subject to how those records are accessed, handled and disposed of, now and at any time in the future.

They do it right here for sure. Brilliant venue, great food, fabulous room, and you dont have to leave the building.

Great place to relax and have a meal. Great food and service. Would highly recommend the Lithgow Workers Club.

We are visiting from the USA. Arrived in Lithgow at the end of the day wondering where we might stay for the night. Came upon Workies. We didn't have the foggiest idea what that meant but decided to inquire about the rooms and have a look. Allison, the front desk manager, was most helpful in everything, even explaining about what Workies was.
Loved the room, every amenity we would need, including a nightlight in the bathroom. We've been traveling around Australia for the last 2+ weeks and have stayed in a lot of hotels/motels. This is one of the best we've found and a good price. Thanks, Lithgow, for your hospitality.

Lovely motel just don't stop here if it's going to rain. They closed the club cause the roof leaks

Food is okay with a limited menu and only specials get changed every now and then. The motel, I haven't been there but I would presume it's good. But overall it is decent.

King room is great value for my wife and child. Staff are excellent and food in club is generous and highly recommended. Our second trip and would stay again. Highly recommended.

Rooms are modern, well appointed and clean. Great location - walk to town.
Beds and pillows were very hard (and I like a firm bed) making it hard to sleep and soundproofing between rooms and corridor isn’t good - was woken up in the morning by screaming kids. A little overpriced at $200+.

Regular visitors & members great venue excellent staff Bistro cafe with easy parking & fair prices. 100% recommend.

Must visit when in Lithgow, the place was buzzing Saturday night. Food was good and prices are not to high.

AWESOME - OK - as a foreigner visiting for a day, with a name like Workies Club, I did not expect this place to be as awesome as it was. Totally exceeded all my expectations. Great welcome, nice spacious rooms, lovely restaurant and bar, and its obviously the happening place in town. Totally recommend this place to everyone

Fantastic value, didn't expect such a good family room for its price. We stayed in a family room that has a king size bed and 2 single bed. It is also 2 min drive from pizza hut, 8min drive from maccas, kfc and other fast food places. A good place to stay at if you are planning to visit the Japanese Bathhouse which is only 15min drive away

I've stayed at very expensive hotels and their service didn't come close to the Workies. Such lovely friendly people and the accommodation was top notch! Definitely stay here again if I'm coming through this way. 5 stars Thank you!

Perfect one night stay for our family. Noticed in particular was the detail in the lighting - sufficient and well thought out. Not even a lot of well-known hotels we've stayed at could get this right. Service was friendly and accommodating.

Larger and more impressive than expected. Bistro a bit on the expensive side & 27 for a Pamy Sintzel but it's got a nice view and you can also stay here as they have accommodation which by the locals is good. There is a large carpark opposite. People in the culb are friendly.

Room and venue very comfortable. Nice and modern feel about everything. Pretty handy having the club premises so accessible. Had a small issue with our water but they gave us a complimentary breakfast.

Usually have a great experience here, the lady on the door was blunt and rude! Then we ordered the Chicken ceaser salad and both my partner and I felt sickly afterwards, feel like the quality is slipping and it feels less welcoming these days.

The rooms are very clean and comfy. They could do with a verandah of sorts as an enhancement request but they are otherwise immaculate.

It's a workers club. Cheap and cheerful good place to rest your legs. Has 2 NRMA ev chargers, so good.
