I was stuck in the drive through for 3 hours! The chips were soggy and had no salt, definitely not worth the wait I wouldn’t recommend the dogs I asked for medium rare! (my family all vomited from food poisoning)

My son went to this school, academically very poor, all about ideology. Few of his friends are leaving because kids are mostly unsupervised, also 8 year olds use laptops unsupervised.since leaving my son was behind and took about 6 months to catch up to the level of a normal school. I'm glad I took him out as early as I did.

As a student at this school I can say that I have never been happier, this school has helped me not only with academics but with important life skills. The teachers here are amazing and are the nicest I’ve ever met. The school has the best facilities I’ve ever seen and is able to help you no matter what your needs are. I came to the school with pretty bad anxiety. I used to have panics attacks regularly and I would have trouble calming down but the teachers and councillors were able to help me and provide a workspace that was perfect for my needs. The learning style is amazing it lets students have a say in their own learning and have fun at the same time. Thanks for reading:)

Don't gamble your children's future by sending them to this school.

The school's academic results strongly suggests that its methods are failing.

If your focus is academics then you will be disappointed. Recent Naplan results strongly reflects its failings.

It's approach is very much experimental and I personally would not risk my children's futures on such unproven teaching methods.

It is easy to be fooled by its new & flash exterior or the school's new age philosophy. At the end of the day.the tried and tested methods will allow your kids to achieve good grades and become well rounded as individuals.

If educators want to experiment.then let them.but just not on my kids.

Wonderful school. My children are so happy there. The teaching methods mean they are fully engaged. The teaching staff are tremendous and the principle, Stephanie is a true thought leader in education.

Amazing school! My daughter has been here since it opened. Can you believe she actually misses going to school when it's the holidays? The teachers are kind, empathetic and the products the kids make are astounding. If you get a chance to come for an open day and talk to any of the students, you will be amazed, as I have been, at how confident, articulate and thoughtful the students are. Can't rate it highly enough. No wonder the waiting list is massive.

I don't often write reviews however on this occasion I feel I need to speak up. Having a child at LLV who has flourished remarkably since joining the school, after having a very tough time in her last school, I can highly recommend the staff and the school unreservedly. We consider ourselves very lucky to be blessed with a child at this school and can't but help wonder if the current media and political circus has any benefit to Australian society!

Amazing school. Our three children have been there since it opened three years ago. Best teachers in NSW. Best practice teaching grounded in established contemporary research on education models around the world. The Principal is fantastic, facilities are second to none, and the parent community is great. Highly recommend this school.

Amazing school. Willing to bet none of the 1 star reviews are from people who’ve ever actually been there.

My children love this school. It is collaborative and open minded without prejudice. An open and inclusive school which teaches both the syllabus and the surrounding aspects of life that are as important as facts and methods.

My son has been attending LLV right from the start. This school is at the forefront of a disruption that has literally swept through all other industries but education, which is arguably long due. Whenever there is a change underway, the incumbents will always come out from their hideouts at full force to resist the inevitable future. This is by no means a perfect school, especially for a model that is so radically new, but together we will learn from our failures and become a stronger and better self.

I think it’s sad how some people in position of power with public voices and profiles are so adept in running politicised stories that spark mass scale controversy to suit their own agenda, all without the slightest consideration of the actual context whatsoever. Such egotistic reaction triggered by nothing but their own insecurity is the exact reason why our world is filled with misunderstanding and hate.

It’s even more appalling to see the recent poor reviews left by ppl that have absolutely nothing to do and zero knowledge of this school. They clearly lack the most basic critical thinking ability yet are so compelled to make a fool of themselves by publicly voicing their inconsiderate and narrow minded opinions.

I am proud and relieved to have chosen this school, a school that encourages students to observe, explore, test, and reflect on contemporary and contentious issues! Kudos to the principal, teachers, students, and parents of this school!

Oh, one more thing. Sorry to disappoint those that actually believe kids here are being brainwashed and indoctrinated. I sympathise with you deeply. Good luck with the rest of your life:)

My son was completely disengaged with his old school when he was in year nine. He started at LLV in year 10 in 2019, and he’s thrived. He’s doing extension two maths and physics for HSC, and he loves getting up for the 7 am starts to do extra maths at school. He is happy there, he has great friends. The teachers are very attentive, very caring, and very in tune with mental health outcomes. I cannot fault this school.
