14 I wish i can rate the customer service of this store in minus. The lady is completely intolerant of customers and totally ignores customers when trying to ask her something (standing right next to her). I am not sure whether it’s something to do with my race or she behaves exactly the same way with everyone. Went to buy plastic sheet to cover tables and furniture. Tried to ask her for help few times saying “excuse me, excuse me ” standing right next to her. But completely ignored first few times and finally she noticed me, then accidentally i said that i am looking for plastic paper to cover table etc.she was extremely rude in her conversation and picked on me for saying “platic paper” instead of saying “plastic sheet”. Then asked me” go to reception” and when i saw she went to get the product, she again rudely directed me to reception. She measured it or not but brought it to reception, i paid and left. I could have dragged this issue and asked her to measure that in front of me to humiliate her but then “THERE WOULD BE NO DIFFERENCE LEFT BETWEEN HER AND ME. ”
Worst customer service ethics. Pretty sure five star reviews about customer service are fake or done by friends.
We were assisted by Jody and “Mon” while shopping on holiday and they are two of the most unhelpful staff I’ve ever come across severely lacking any customer service skills.
They don’t like answering any questions about materials or stock so we went to Spotlight instead where the staff were actually helpful.
Whilst the other half is in JB Hifi, I duck in to Lincraft. Plenty of good buys in there. So much to inspire my next project and to adorn our furniture.
Albury store: went there few time, but each time customer service was horrible. No hello or hi from the lady at reception even if you are on the checkout. She starts measuring or scanning fabrics and stuff but no greetings at all from her. She doesn’t answer even if I said her hello few times. It doesn’t matter which time of the day. Went at the opening times and closing times. It’s very clear from her service that she can not stand other people. Always looks angry. I find spotlight bit expensive but I go there first due to this bad customer service at lincraft. At least staff there doesn’t make me feel unwanted in their store.
I find prices here quite expensive compared to other Lincraft stores. (Belconnen, Newcastle).
Also looking for Fabric glue sticks. The first person didn't know if they had any and the older person when asked said no and just kept walking. Not good customer service.
Nice big store. Huge range only thing is that I was in there for 30mins and didn't even get a hi or offered a hand so went to spotlight instead.
The senior woman there should not be in a customer face to face role. The intolerance of people that is arrogantly displayed and refusal to assist about anything from an enquiry is detrimental to Lincraft. This is shop has a reputation now to be avoided because of this. One day someone will react very badly to this behaviour

It's good store but I wish things was a little more cheaper as there so much I wanted to buy and it was over my budget.
Standing out front 5.20 door locked no one answering phone if its not a 5.30 close store dont say it is and I wouldnt drive through a covid check point for 30min for no reason
Lincraft's Albury store is horrible. The shop is poorly organised and uninspiring and the staff are unhelpful, dismissive and uninterested. A sad shopping experience.
Just brilliant, polite, helpful staff. That offer great service and knowledge. Good range of knitting materials, best place in Albury area for the study of knitology.
Staff not as friendly as used to be, no, hi can I help you as you wandering around looking for things. Otherwise it is well set out, lovely ranfe of wools which were jumping into my basket darn it all. BUT, couldn't find the cottons so left to get from elsewhere.
Terrible customer service! Rude staff! We ended up leaving our stuff and walking out of the store. Went to spotlight where they have insane service!
Albury store: I went to the store to purchase 5 knitting items; 4 were out of stock, the 5th had a selection of one and was completely unsuited. Shop assistant was not interested in assisting me and (unless she has a supernatural knowledge of every single item in the store) could not be bothered to look for an alternative to offer me; just stated from the sales point that they don't have it. I went to Spotlight and was able to purchase everything I needed easily. Poor service and product selection.
