Went for a family dinner and was disappointed with the food. I know the kitchen is under renovation but we got cold chips, and the side salads weren't very nice (iceberg, some cabbage and 70s coleslaw dressing). Schnitzel and grilled chicken were nice however. The playground is damaged with sections where kids have jumped on it and parts were missing. All the staff were friendly, couldn't fault them on their service. Ill probably try the bistro again when the new kitchen is finished.

It is an excellent venue, with a hefty serving of food for Rhoda’s 50th Birthday. Accommodating staff, especially Beverly.

We had an amazing 50th birthday celebration in Hudson Hotel last Sept 2, Saturday. We’re very thankful and happy for the outcome. The place we rented, The Terrazza room, was just enough for us 35 people to move and do our small program. We loved the wall decor of that room because it matches the theme of our golden birthday celebration. The foods were very good and delicious. You made our guests’ tummy happy and full. Most specially the calamari, crackling pork and the tiramisu dessert. We are pleased and very happy from the first day we inquire, made reservations and the event day. The beautiful 3Ks ladies (Kristina, Katarina and Kathryn) in the reservation dept, thank you very much. You’re all pleasant to talked with. We also commend the best quality service of TAMARA and her partner that day, Rishav. Thank you very much again! Tamara is very nice person, she’s sensitve to our needs, she’s serious when it comes to her job (serving the food) but still gives her beautiful smile even she’s tired and busy. We’re really satisfied and happy to you all. Keep up the good work Hudson Hotel staff. You help people making wonderful memories in your place and most specially all of you, the people in Hudson. This was my brother’s 50thheld in the Veranda Room. Beverley (who had a smile on her face at all times) and the staff were excellent. They were professsionals. The food was of a high quality and tasty.
Everything was done with efficiency.
Would recommend this to friends and family for future celebrations.

Decent venue for parties and gatherings. Food tastes good. Staff are customer focused and very accommodating. Beverly served us with a big smile all night making sure our needs were met.

We had a very good dining experience at Hudson Hotel. I booked this place to celebrate my husband’s birthday and we had 20 people joining for dinner. Everybody loved the place, food was delicious and really good customer service. Staff was friendly and helpful. Saturday night live music was also a good thing. I would definitely recommend this place.

If I could give no stars I would. Missing items and soggy tasteless food for the amount of money I paid, can't even contact the restaurant cause no one bother to answer the phone. Very disappointed. Wouldn't recommend anyone to order from this place.

Ordered home delivery for the first time last night. The food was yum. Delivered on time and was very hot and fresh. Will definitely order from here again!

We had delivered the worst pizza we never had.wasn't made by italian pizza maker.we didn't order from them any more.so disappointed

The experience was second to none. Lovely venue, great food and fantastic customer service with a beautiful energetic italian waitress. What else can you ask for!

Waited over 2 hours for my food to be delivered. Didn't have the courtesy to pick up the phone and advise any delays. Worst service ever

WARNING: DO NOT HOLD YOUR NEXT EVENT AT LILY'S! FOOD WILL COME OUT LATE (OR NOT AT ALL)

Had my daughter's birthday there and selected the grazing menu - food was meant to come out at designated times but food was over an hour late and there was definitely not enough food for the amount of people (even with no shows and paying separate for children's meals that was also late and missing the dessert)

We were asked to cut the cake before the 2nd course of mains came out as the kitchen was backed up and then it eventually never came out, desserts which were part of the kids menus never came out because they just "forgot". For such a large venue you would think that you could leave the catering and management to them, but this was obviously not the case as we were constantly following up when food would come out, which is not how I wanted to spend my daughter's birthday

The poor email response was also another slap in the face, a copy and paste sorry for the food not coming out/missing courses and insinuating that there was a lack of food because the 25 children - most of those who were under 6 yrs of age (who all had their own children's meals ordered) must've started eating the meals for adults - instead of some sort of partial refund or proper apology. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE JOKE

It's horrible to see in these hard times that businesses are out to just make a quick buck instead of genuinely providing a good service.

From the moment we enter Lily’s restaurant our dining experience is amazing as we are greeted by all our beautiful service staff and shown the menu and board specials.
The entire dining menu has so many amazing choices which I am happy to say that we have ordered many delicious meals from the food and beverage menu.

Great service, food was yum (swordfish - chef's special) and this with the place being packed. Well done. Very enjoyable night for in-laws 60th wedding anniversary.

Good value for money. Friendly staff, however sometimes I felt they could be a bit more aware or were overwhelmed. Food is amazing. Has to be the best Italian place I have been in a long time. Definitely going to be a new regular

We've been to Lilys quite a few times for birthdays and food is really good. I ordered the beef cheek and it was fork tender. We all loved the wood fired pizzas. The potato croquette on this occasion was a tad salty.
Service is attentive but could get swamped when there are simultaneous functions in the function rooms. The lady who served us was excellent.
The only problem I had was with the Bellini I ordered. It had a maraschino cherry in the bottom of the glass and it ruined the flavour of the drink. I feel I should dock half a point for this but half points a not allowed on this review site. So, instead of 4.5, I give Lilys 4 stars. Food is really good but skip the cocktails.
