Life Medical Imaging Umina Beach

I went for an urgent x-ray that was meant to be completed in 4 hours. Every person I spoke to whilst doing the scan said it would be with my GP within 4 hours. My GP followed up and it was still not done even close to in that timeframe. GP said that whenever they tried to follow up they were ignored.called again today to find out where the report was and got told that there's no such thing as an urgent scan on Sunday and there's nothing they can do. The technician was nice but reception staff are rude and also don't appear to know anything about the procedures and processes. Lucky my condition wasn't fatal and if I was an older person or more at risk the consequences of getting an urgent scan so late could have been very very bad.

Update: GP just informed me that Life Medical Imaging took the incorrect abdominal x-ray requested - so not only was an urgent x-ray reported late it was done incorrectly and was essentially useless.

She has mentioned that the care and attention she received whilst she was there was excellent and very professional.

Waited for close to an hour after my appointment time as I “got lost in the system” after a staff change over. Whilst the staff were apologetic they don’t appear to have a system in place.

We walked in at 4pm for an x-ray and a ct scan and was finished by 4: 45 all staff were extremely happy and helpful.

All the reception ladies are absolutely lovely, the sonograhers were very friendly and amazing. All in all Life medical imagining is a 10/10 for great service and lovely staff

The receptionist was very rude, abrupt. She had shoulder length dark brown hair and glasses on. I will have my appointment only because my health practitioner wants me to come here. But it will be the last time.

Lovely clinic, can't fault the receptionist, Katie. She went above and beyond - a real asset to the clinic.

Reception staff is helpful and courteous.
Medical staff is professional. I was not disappointed when I was not given a hint on the result of my test.

Horrible reception staff! Rang them for a copy of my ultrasound as I need to have an urgent one done and must have my ultrasound report on the day, and was refused!
The reason being that they cannot confirm where it is being sent, even though it is my report I am not allowed to view it. I ring the next service I recieved an ultrasound through and they happily email me a copy!
Ridiculous and rude!
Will not be using their service again
