They have plenty of choices for the sound system. The staff are very friendly and patient to introduce products. Also, they are eager to provide auditions. An impressed shopping experience.
Thanks LWA & particularly to their two technicians & Tony who helped me recently. I have a 50 year old set of speakers & a receiver to match, which still sound beautiful together, but needed some attention. I’d feared the worst, 50 years old, but Tony listened to me patiently &, to my surprise & relief, said they’d be happy to have a look & bring them in. They confirmed all 18 original speakers were still fine but also managed to track down & make up a fix to the intermittent problem. Likewise they found the cause of the amp balance being out. A very pleasant experience. Thanks.
This is a great hifi store and I first bought equipment there in 2003.
I must say the last two times Ive been in there I encountered a salesman that is really quite rude. I found him patronising the first time I met him, so I walked out and went to Monavale. On my recent visit he misheard something I said and angrily responded with "I didnt say that".
I appreciate the small discount I got on my purchase, but dude, your attitude sux. Hopefully you can battle through whatever is bothering you.
Been a customer at LWA since 2005. I have built much of my HiFi around components purchased from here. Stand our feature is their post sales service once things go wrong, second to none!
Len Wallis is a very gentle softly spoken, no pressure gent, as is his son Tim.
His staff are mostly well informed and highly enthusiastic audiophiles, which also set them apart from most other high end audio stores in Sydney.
I also like the way HiFi equipment are demonstrated. Can't understate how many times I've visited other high end audio store in Sydney, and found their equipment lacking due to poor room acoustics and set up.
Just bought an amp from the guys at Len Wallis audio. I talked to Len over the phone and he treated me like a valued customer even though I could have just been a tyre kicker.
On visiting the shop I dealt with Tim and he also treated me with patience and valuable advice. There were more valuable products in the range but not once did he coerce me in that direction. (Don't tell the boss)
I have have had several dealings with these guys and have always been treated with patience and respect.

Highly recommend! After a few email contacts with various hi-fi stores to have some basic work done to my turntable, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and helpful responses from Tony. (other stores seemed to lose interest when they realised it was only a couple of hundred dollar job) I dropped in with the turntable this morning, received good advice and had the problem fixed on the spot.
My visit to Len Wallis Hi Fi was to search for a better sound from my television. I had already tried a quality soundbar but was extremely disappointed. I was assured this was a common disappointment with soundbars.
Mr Len Wallis personally worked with me with a couple of options until I found the fantastic sound that I now have. I commend him for his patience and time that we spent discussing my needs.
The overall service and installation was exceptional just as the finished result was also. Incredible sound now from my TV.

Profiled by staff. Asked for the price on a record player and after assessing me up and down based on my young age and casual clothes, the gentleman working could not help but smirk and stifle his laughter before providing it to me. Certainly a level of snootiness here.

Visited on the weekend and on entry I wasn’t worth a hello from the older Asian gentleman in store. It took some time browsing before someone else approached me to say hi and offer assistance.
I had just been to the gym, still in fitness attire and obviously profiled as I walked into the store. 2 stars for the shop because it’s beautiful and houses a lot of amazing equipment, but if you’re looking for exceptional customer service and support you’ll be sorely disappointed.
002LWA loves to speed and tailgate people in traffic along pacific highway, pretty stupid considering you have your business plastered all over your van?
Been a customer, not a big one just some audio stuff, for ten years. Had a problem with release CD mechanism and quoted (from Yamaha) half the original purchase price so decided not to pay this for something that should last longer than 3/ 4 years? Tried three attempts to get it returned. At no time offered an alternative product. Showed little interest in doing so. Even though quote was from manufacturer, LWA showed little interest at any stage.
I have been Purchasing Yamaha products from Len for over 30yrs I Always get Great advise with No Pressure Highly Recommend
