Leichhardt Park Aquatic Centre reviews
70We just had food and coffees at the cafe. It was delicious, reasonably priced and really quick. Lovely location as well.
Great gym and pool with solid facilities. Trainers & classes are hit and miss but most of the staff are friendly.
Great venue, so many facilities and friendly staff. Perfect for swims, gym & having a quick bite for lunch all year round
It's in a nice place. The big outdoor pool it self needs a make over, you can feel where the crack tiles are underneath the pool water are. Still love going there.
Great pool especially the hydrotherapy pool.
Good play area for kids, swim lessons and adults.
Not full on with the chlorine either.
Great pool for the kids, big outdoor pool is fantastic, and there's a warm pool indoors along with a kiddie pool, plus another outdoor kiddie pool. Plus there's a diving pool
Great facility plenty of parking, we swim regularly her with kids who also like the kids pool - water is always warm and clean.
Good cafe inside too.
Great local pool. Would be great if they opened the next height up diving platform to the general public though (only have 1m open). Still 5 stars though!
Very nice pools I loved the atmosphere. My children had so much fun.there is heated indoor pools also.and you can buy food and every thing you need.
The Strong Seniors classes are very good - Val C & Rosetta are to be commended but wow the IT issues trying to book online are horrendous. I've been hearing complaints about the IT issues from other class attendees which are clearly not being addressed by LPAC & today I experienced it first hand. I rang to report the issue & the staff gave me the run around until I finally asked to speak to the supervisor who apologised for the IT problems & booked my husband & I into the class over the phone. Staff members were telling me they could not book casuals into classes over the phone which was very frustrating & discriminatory. I was asked to email screen shots of all the IT problems which I have and will submit to the supervisor. Then the people who attend the classes. Unwelcoming to the point of being hostile. We were told by a class attendee that basically we should not be at the class because of our lack of technique & that we needed "one on one personal training. " I suspicion we received this "friendly advice" because places are limited due to Covid & the friend group were not getting their sessions because they were not booking early enough. My husband & I are not training for the Olympics here.just trying to get a workout without judgement thanks.
OK. Nothing special. Facilities average. A bit overpriced. If you are mainly interested in using the gym, there are much better deals around.
Staff are doing their absolute best during these Covid times. Yes I would love to swim for longer and in the 50m pool but I'm happy to be able to get into the water at all. Evrything gets sanitized before the new group comes in. Thank you
Selection of pools both indoor and out and lots of fitness classes on offer.
Helpful staff that are keen to give you a free trial.
Plenty of parking but extremely busy. If you prefer smaller quieter pools and fitness centres then give this one a miss.
Great pool with a leafy out look to the water. Outdoor pool is a nice feature but they also have 2 indoor pools. Outdoor showers would be a nice addition for a quick rinse before or after a swim. Nice cafe makes for a pleasant snack and swim.
Great place only problem is that when swimming classes are on very limited to no space available especially in the hydro pool
Been going to this gym for 6 years. Great location and facilities. Regular staff who are pretty friendly. Other gym users courteous and unpretentious. Good place to exercise.
The creche at this place is amazing - the staff are more qualified, caring and professional than most I have met in long day care facilities and I love leaving my baby with them knowing that he is safe and happy.
Reasonably priced local pool including access to gym. The hydrotherapy pool was closed for construction - so only the outdoor pool, children pool and one indoor pool was available. A lot of kids swimming. Cafe available onsite.
Went for casual swimming on Saturday morning, grumpy middle aged man on reception informed me they didn't have any lanes open and that no pool in NSW would be open on Saturday mornings (in Summer) due to swim squad. Went to Ian Thorpe Aquatic Centre where 4 lanes were open.
One of my favourite places in the inner west.
Affordable gym membership, great classes, Olympic size pool and tough PTs.
