17 Extremely rude and unprofessional.
Refuse my request on trying the demo m6/mp film camera by saying “it’s not digital, you can’t see the pictures”very aggressively.
Brah why would I ask for these two specific model if I don’t know the difference? So sad to see how Leica fans paying $$$ and still being treated like trash
I’ve consistently experienced excellent service at the Leica Store Sydney. Every visit is made special by Danny’s warm greeting, always accompanied by a big smile and an offer for a coffee. What really stands out are the personal touches that make each experience unique and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone seeking top-notch service and expertise in photography equipment.
I eneter the store around mid day - to try a camera, particularly the SL2-S.
I was greeted by the store manager Daniel.
My impression and experience were second to none.
He is such helpful and understanding / non pushy camera enthusiasts and scholar.
He responded to every concern and question I had.
He replied to every question with a scholary answer and was impartial to Leica, and left the judgement to myself.
This approach made me think more about the quality / performance of Leica and did not have someone force feeding me so I could just buy a product.
I walked out and understood why the price was reflective on quality.
I highly recommend interacting with Daniel as he was such a helpful scholar and enthusiast who will answer all your questions precisely.
Visited the store and was served by a dismissive and rude staff member who did not offer a great level of service. I was advised just that the camera was out of stock and the conversation was stopped at that. He was very unwilling to answer questions about the product, all the while I was the only customer in the store.
Makes for a very bad experience with Leica.
Knowledge team, though a bit pushy on sales. After sales service experience is an embarrassment to the brand.

I’ve bought a 10 thousand dollars microscope from Leica and the camera stopped working after two years so I contacted them to get it repaired but they refused to fix it.very disappointed with how they handled the situation, a big company like Leica refuses to fix a faulty microscope that they sold to me I would not recommend them to anyone
Happy to get my first camera, D-LUX 7 “A BATHING APE x STASH” Edition. I love it so much. The service staff in store was very nice. I will definitely visit here more often.
My wife and I visited the Sydney Leica Store on Friday afternoon. I have owned many cameras and was carrying my Leica Q2, which I love, and have owned for some time. My wife wanted to look at Leica. There were two assistants in the store and one customer. The young assistant looked at us when we walked in, saw my Leica, gave a cursory nod then totally ignored us. We looked at the gallery, picked up a couple of cameras on the display, walked around for a few more minutes and my wife said let's go. We even looked at some books. We were totally ignored by the sales assistant who was totally disinterested in our existence. I don't want to be followed around in lock step by a sales assistant but I would like to be noticed. How would he know whether I might want to buy another camera, everyone buys another camera! I certainly know where not to shop in future. So much for the "Leica experience! "
I popped down to this store just for a visit and the salesperson was extremely kind and out of his own will popped out an M11 for me to handle and take a few shots with. Definitely worth a visit and a fantail store for customers to purchase anything Leica!
Love visiting the Leica store. Bought 2 cameras from them, and I can only recommend them as a reference for Leica camera. Matthew has always been extremely helpful and really open about the cameras capabilities and in order to reserve one. Would definitely recommend this store if you're thinking of buying a Leica camera!
I've bought from them a few times, and they've always been very kind, shown me the products I was interested in, and made me a coffee. Even when I specifically said I wasn't ready to buy today, they treated me so well that when I did save up the money, I came right back to make the purchase with them.
They are definitely the best option in Sydney for Leica products, and I would always recommend coming here over any of the other options, even though they're further away from me than other Leica Boutiques.
Parking in the building is very expensive, but the store is directly next to Town Hall station, and a bus stop, so I would recommend catching public transport for a hassle free experience.
Salesman was very pushy without actually giving me any information regarding the product. He could have been a watch salesperson selling cameras for all I know. I got better customer service from the Subaru spare parts department.
Bought couple accessories for my D-Lux type 109, the quality service by Billy are top notch. Even is just bunch of accessories the way he treat are same as I buy high end stuff. Definitely recommend this store and it motivates me to saving up to get Leica M from this store. Cheers
Brilliant service by Brendan with a phone order today. Attention and helpfulness was just as good for me ordering something small as it would have been if I was getting anything larger and more high end. Appreciate the way this store looks after Leica users.
Very disappointed by their customer service. Lack of communication, lack of care or even trying to find a way to help. I’m dealing with Leica and paying a premium for it and expect a certain quality in return. Unfortunately the quality wasn’t there in my case.
