Leading Edge Computers Charlestown

Great experience. Chatted to David on the phone yesterday who recommended I pop into the shop. He checked over my laptop and quickly disabled alot of the popups that drive me crazy and slow my computer down. He provided an honest opinion of my laptop (which I guess is a bit old and slow), and without trying to sell me a new one today, showed me some that may be suitable. He did not charge me anything today which was nice but if I find my laptop does need an upgrade in the future I will definitely return to Leading Edge Computers in Charlestown for their knowledge and not making me feel like a complete loser. Awesome A1 service and reasonably priced. Took all of the hassles out of transferring the data off a fried laptop onto a new one. Dave meticulously setup my new laptop exactly the same as the old one as well as adding some extra RAM and it is now running beautifully smooth and fast. Thanks and much appreciation!

The guys at Leading Edge Charlestown know their stuff, will definitely be going back for any upgrades or repairs in the future.

Had a major sudden problem with my laptop.

THANK YOU. Arrived in Newcastle from Solomon Islands with a dead laptop. I had 4 hours on the weekend to be rescued and you did! Confirmed it really was dead, extracted hard drive, got key data and programs etc onto new laptop (which I had bought enroute), sorted passwords, Reduced stress levels. At the end, I flew out to Kiribati for work with a functioning laptop. You will never know how grateful I am. Without your stress free help I would not have been able to do my job for the next month. Took my troublesome gaming PC into the guys, they knew exactly what the problem was when I explained what was happening and they had it fixed in no time at all! Awesome price's and great staff!

Came in with a faulty power supply causing my circuit breaker and the stores breaker to flip, Dave was very helpful and went above and beyond to diagnose the issue, replace the power supply, and add a few quality or life improvements to the tower.

He did a brilliant job cleaning it as well, looks good as new.

I just got back my computer tower today after being in the shop for over 3 months and they have lost the glass side cover for the tower. They denied that it came in with the cover which I don't agree because I brought that tower in complete. Now I have to buy a new tower with no way to recoup my loss, very disappointed and never going back.

Cannot fault Dave and Andrew and my family and I will not be going to any other service than these guys. We cannot be more pleased with the service, quality of work, knowledge, experience and result. Thanks Leading Edge. Tried the rest? Try the BEST!

Our router and computer ethernet network card got fried after last night's thunderstorm. Andrew from Leading Edge Charlestown was able to provide a replacement along with advisory on installation. We also purchased a mesh system to enable extended wifi within our house.it was very easy to install and now we have a strong wifi signal in areas of the house. I highly recommend Leading Edge Charlestown for all of your IT, network and computer needs.

Had issues with the cooling fan on my work notebook. Unit pulled down to verify defective fan in an hour or so, new part ordered, brought the computer back when part arrived and fixed in a couple of hours. Fantastic to deal with. Good price and extremely knowledgeable staff.

Went in to have a pc built purely for photo editing, the guys were very helpful and had it built and ready for me within 3 days. Highly recommend
