Lawrence Museum reviews
15We drove through this town on our way home from holidays. Lawrence Museum is amazing! A wonderful and interesting display of history. The staff and volunteers have kept this place beautifully restored. So many artefacts and stories to read. I highly recommend a drive to visit this landmark. Well worth it
A very good and comprehensive collection of artefacts. A great collection of vintage radio's worth seeing. Very helpful staff of volunteers.
It was great, I love the little houses of of long ago and the old tools. Would have liked more plants to buy. Could not hear the Garden Guru talking, but that is just technical stuff. The volunteers were wonderful. A volunteer named Pat was so lovely she showed us around. A great place to visit.
Awsome museum recommends visiting or revisiting since they recently did some renovations/new buildings
The Lawrence community and volunteers have done a wonderful job putting the museum together. There are some little quirky touches.
Very historic. Lots of interesting information about local veterans and lots to see re old furniture and tractor and of good value
Wonderful museum, all done mostly with fantastic local volunteers. So worth the drive from Yamba or Mclean across the ferry.
Unexpected gem in Lawrence. Well worth a visit if you're staying in or passing through the Clarence Valley.
Excellent display for a small community. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Very helpful volunteers too. Great way to spend a quiet Saturday afternoon with the family or alone.
Great displays relating to Lawrence history & surrounds. Disabled access to buildings & amenities, includes an elevator to the first floor in the Shed to view 1930's themed rooms.
Absolutely brilliant
Lots of artefacts, information and history
Volunteer staff on hand were informative and helpful
We were very impressed with this museum. It showed how a small country town can showcase it's history in a very dedicated and professional way.
A very well maintained historical museum. Very clean and well laid out. Very friendly helpfull staff.
Absolutely fabulous, what an amazing team of volunteers have worked so hard to preserve and present an outstanding and interesting selection of treasured memorabilia. Looking around, it brought back many memories. Highly recommend a visit.
