Lavington Library

The Lavington Library boasts friendly, informed and helpful staff, as well as offering a fantastic variety of regular free classes, groups and services for all ages and demographics. They also have a multitude of wonderful resources beyond 'just books', such as graphic novels, magazines, DVD's, board and tabletop games, computers, multifunction printers and even toys to entertain the kids. Top top it all off, there is fantastic and ample seating spaces available, including comfy couches, should you choose to stay and read a while, or even private meeting rooms should you need a bit of privacy. Whilst it may be considered on the smaller side, the Lavington Library is a well equipped, efficiently run and clean and tidy community facility.

Further, as the Lavington Library is within a shared building space, just outside its doors are clean bathroom facilities, and just beyond that, a wonderful little Cafe. It really is a great 'one stop spot' if you're wanting a relaxing afternoon, either to treat yourself to some quiet time, to catch up with some friends, or spend a few hours out of the house with the kids.

We really love our local library, situated within the Zaunder building, which has parking close by, as well as wheelchair access, allowing more to access the library effectively.
They have an excellent selection of books, ebooks etc, as well as much needed services, including a JP, available Monday to Friday, for up-to-date hours, simply contact them.
The librarians are friendly & it's a great place to bring the kids
