Lauriston House Function Centre

Booked this venue today for a wedding reception in 2024. I must say that from the first moment I was thoroughly impressed by the time and professionalism that was afforded to my partner and I by Victoria (Owner) and her daughter. Honest, considerate, and extremely easy people to interact with. We left extremely happy with our experience and booked immediately. Very very impressed!

Just WOW! My Son got married here on the 4th of Nov, and a all I can say is WOW! The outdoor area was beautiful, food was absolutely amazing, my favourite was the crackling pork and cheesecake, The service was exceptional service staff always asked if i needed anything Thanks guys. Very spacious and loved the Boogie Woogie dance floor. Thank you for making my Son and Daughter inlaw dream come true.

We held our wedding and reception at Lauriston House in July 2023. It was absolutely magnificent. We were treated like family from the moment we met Victoria and her excellent team. We could customise our wedding and reception for our taste and had many beautiful inclusions suggested to us such as the candle package. That made the venue sparkle and all of our photos of our day twinkle. The food was delicious and our guests have raved about the tasty and generous servings every day. The venue is beautiful with elegant touches such as chandeliers, a pianist at the grand piano while hors d'oeuvres and cocktails were served, crisp white linen and candelabras with sparkling and flattering lighting throughout. We highly recommend Lauriston House as the perfect venue for weddings and special occasions. Thank you Victoria, Hera, our MC Anthony and all the magnificent staff. We made lasting wonderful memories with our beautiful wedding and reception at Lauriston House.

Victoria and her staff were brilliant. We had a sit down meeting with Victoria so we know what we were paying for and the service we should expect. My concern was my daughters guest can not leave hungry, Victoria said no way.

Victoria is an honest lady if she can not do something you want then she will tell you and she will go beyond to get you what you want, RSA is a huge part of the night so everyone enjoys themselves

Victoria did not dissapoint, everything promised was supplied from friendly staff to getaway car and much much more, my daughters guest told me they are full can not eat another thing they could not believe they were offered seconds.

I would reccomend lauriston house and the team to anyone getting married.

As soon as I walked into Lauriston house to book my wedding I instantly felt welcomed & new this was the place I wanted to say yes to forever! It’s beautiful, both the ladies are so helpful! And make everything less stressful! I’d definitely recommend Lauriston house to anyone and everyone! I fell in love it is so beautiful.

Was a guest at a wedding.
On arrival, we were greeted by staff with drinks and appetiser.
3 course meal was delicious, with staff keeping glasses filled.
Bride and groom had a wonderful wedding breakfast.
Only slight negative, no on-site parking for guests, though parking available in surrounding streets within a short walk, though not for the elderly.

It's a beautiful place but the way it's been posted on fb is nothing near that. It's a ok place

Thank you so much to Victoria, Chris and Hera for the wedding of my dreams! As soon as I saw the venue, I knew it was the one and immediately booked and paid my deposit that day! 2 years of planning, changing the plans, constant messages back and forth, and I couldn't believe the perfection! The food was to die for, everything was organised so I didn't have to worry about a thing, and the added inclusions are something you cannot find anywhere else! We will 100% be coming back to renew our vows every few years. MAKE SURE TO BOOK LAURISTON HOUSE AS YOUR EVENT VENUE! Thabk you again! I'm still in shock from how perfect and dreamy my wedding was!

The best venue we found for our wedding after months of searching. Perfect for a Victorian theme wedding with beautiful photo opportunities. This is an exclusive use venue so it's reserved solely for your event.
We did have a few hiccups and misunderstandings just before the wedding and some on the day. Overall highly recommend!
Also unfortunately in a lot of our intimate photos there were various staff in the background, so if you were planning an event perhaps advise your photographers to get them to step away out of frame.

When looking for wedding venues I came across Lauriston house. Looking through their pricings I never thought I'd be able to afford them but put in a inquiry anyway. Victoria was lovely and super accommodating. So much so we were able to find something suitable and within budget and are looking forward to our wedding at Lauriston next year. They even helped connect us with our celebrants. Keep posted for how well the wedding goes!

Our son was married here on Saturday. Its very convenient to be able to have the wedding ceremony and dinner at the same place. Lauriston House is a wonderful venue for such an important event. The staff were so friendly and helpful and catered to our every need. Our new daughter in law and her family and friends were delighted to be here as were all of our family and friends. We had no trouble with the parking. We highly recommend this magical place for anyone thinking about planning a function anywhere in the Sydney area. Thank you all of the wonderful and very kind people who were involved in our experience.

Last Sunday, I got married at this venue. We were able to have a successful wedding with the help of our friendly staff.
The staff helped with a calm and neat process based on a lot of experience.
The food was also fantastic.

Ms, Victoria, she is the owner and general manager of Venue. Her abilities were truly fantastic.
Even before the wedding, her quick response and the progress of the wedding were impressive.

I attended a function in high hopes only to have waitstaff serving me my entree and just as I was about to dig in, homeboy over here decided to take it away from me and give it to the person sitting opposite me then I missed out cos they forgot about giving me another plate.then after flagging another waiter down to remind them of giving not only me but a few people their entree they start bringing out main course? ! Seeing you guys run around like a bunch of headless chooks was the only form of entertainment for me to distract myself from up and leaving the place.
Don’t get me wrong I know waitstaff get busy.but have a bit of formality to it yeah?

This venue is amazing with so many features and inclusions for the most unbelievable price. Victoria was such a delight, talking through all the services they provide (which are many!), serving us food to taste test, and answering any questions we had.

This place is worth checking out for anyone wanting a wedding. It is stunning and the photos can't do it full justice. Absolutely beautiful and we look forward to our future wedding here.

Sometimes little is more. Last night was perfect! The venue was amazing and the spot being so vintage and small, allowed for the night to be intimate and ensured the focus was about the people and not be distracted by over the top decorations etc. Was cool that they had table service for drinks and the bar staff was also very friendly. Thanks for a great night.

UNBELIEVABLE I’ve been so desperate to find a venue for our reception. We are getting married January 28th 2022 & just about settled on doing a home backyard type of party to celebrate. The stress has been immense so when I got a call from Victoria - owner of Lauriston House a few days ago indicating that she’d read my enquiry and they had a rare opening for our date, I was in tears! She was so kind and understanding of our situation. It’s VERY rare that the owner of the venue makes direct contact, mind you she was the only venue that contacted me via phone call. We viewed the venue today and it was stunning We cannot wait to celebrate our special day at Lauriston House. Victoria and Chriso were so lovely and on to it with every question we had. Everything was outlined clearly with no issues. I cannot wait for a stress free day! Seriously you need to book with Lauriston House! Award winning, INCREDIBLE customer service and excellent communication. Money can’t buy quality! Thank you so much ladies!

Food was Terrible, cold. Pasta was over cooked and the sauce wasn't stored through properly. Sad experience to be honest.

I would like to take this opportunity to tell all future brides and grooms, or anyone planning an event, that Lauriston House will look after you.
The team are a very friendly, professional family run business that will treat you like one of their own. They are open and transparent with suitability, costs and bonds. They have a speedy response to every single email and always happy to answer any questions. There were never any hidden fees like other venues try to sneakily do (which I’m not going to say names). They gave us an amazing wedding package which included many things often priced individually and doubled at other venues.

Delicious food and portions were generous. The perfect risotto delivered for 100+ guests was very impressive and mushroom crepes were to die for. The Pink cocktails and canapés still has my mum talking about them.

Stunning high ceiling and inclusive chandeliers which set the mood for a special luxury wedding reception. Lauriston House is spacious and had accommodating floor plans to have a COVID Safe wedding for all our guests.

Beautiful landscaping. The garden was well kept and was the perfect spot for our bridal party to take photos. There was honestly no need to go anywhere after our ceremony when we had the option of taking photos in the garden and then walking straight into our bridal suite. It stopped me stressing about travelling around Sydney for photos. This made a happy bride. Our guests absolutely loved the wedding. To Victoria, Chriso & Hera thank you so much for making this process of planning so easy for us. It was truly the best day and one to remember.
