We trusted mr Chad Nean from Lambourne Partners to look after our company's accounting needs for a number of years. We thought Chad was providing good service, until, last year when we had another accounting firm audit our books and found that a large number of transactions in our accounting software had been altered without our consent by Chad and his team so that we couldn't claim a tax credit on these items even though it was obvious that we were entitled to.
This resulted in an over-payment of some $30 000+ to the ATO by our company. When questioning this in a friendly manner with the team there was no apology, no acknowledgement of fault, and no offer to resolve. We were met with a very abrupt and rude lot of excuses and told that it would be fixed "next year".
After waiting over 6months for a resolution we have since had to pay another firm some $6000 to fix these issues as we came to the conclusion Lambourne Partners cannot be trusted. I suggest other clients take a good long look into your books and any potential clients be wary of the risks in using this firm.
