Lambing Flat Chinese Tribute Garden reviews
28An unexpected discovery of a beautiful tranquil area where we could walk around the lake enjoying the view.
A wonderful tribute to the Chinese in recognition of the atrocities that fellow Australians were guilty of back in the 1800’s.so peaceful. A great place to visit and picnic or just spend time in contemplation in the gardens.
Well done Young
Great place for lunch and walking, meditation and switching off your brain.
Fishing is good at the moment, dams are stocked with Yellow belly, redfin and Murray Cod.
Still a beautiful place for lunch and a stroll
A beautiful, peaceful place to visit if staying in Young. Easy walk across the bridge and around the garden. Lovely pond in the middle with a water wheel. The sound of the water adds to the peaceful atmosphere. Just after we finished our walk, a group of ladies turned up for what was obviously a yoga meet. What a lovely place to do some quiet stretches. Worth a visit.
If you're looking for tranquillity and a walk in a superbly laid out garden, then this deserves a visit. It is beautifully laid out with all the various plants and trees to sooth you. Loved it.
Small stunning tranquil water gardens with a short path around the lake. Quiet and peaceful. A great place to visit
Beautiful park. If you are travelling through Young this is a great spot for lunch. BBQs toilets, plenty of parking space for vans too.
Our lovely Chinese Gardens are a must see when you visit Young. A lovely area for family picnics and BBQ (provided by the Council). The gardens are Chinese inspired. The pagoda, which has a lovely view over the water, has recently been renovated, the perfect place for quiet contemplation. A path winds around the lake with viewing areas at different intervals. The pathway is lined by rocks and attractive plants. Autumn colours dominate at this time of year. The waterfall and water wheel provide relaxing water music. Ducks, wading birds and swans paddle on the lakes. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Beautiful any time of day.
Wonderful place for a stroll, lunch and meditation. Feeding the ducks is allowed - be aware of the swans as they have cynets - you can fish too
We're lucky enough to see ducklings fresh new! So cute. There's a family of swans too. Their cygnets are almost grown-up now
Glad we made the trip out of Young to see this small, well maintained and serene garden. Looking forward to visiting again when the pagoda is finished.
Young is a beautiful, charming rural town, a hidden gem in the Hilltops. The gardens are well worth a visit!
Gardens were very well laid out. They are not large but well worth the visit. Roses were out with lovely aromas, baby swans and ducks and others still nesting.
This is a gorgeous location with public toilets, plenty of parking, some picnic tables and lots of grass to lay out your picnic rug. The garden is across the bridge and is a lovely oasis of birds, a temple, rose bushes, natives, a waterfall, water lilies', quiet little spots to sit and contemplate the reflective pool. There are microbats living in the trees and lots of photographic opportunities. Its not far from Young, definitely put this on your list of places to visit!
A little bit of heaven just out of Young.
Easy drive with parking within short distance of the Gardens.
Clean amenities in the carpark
Great place to take the kids we done some fishing didn't get annything but it was an great day out.
This is small beautiful garden with small ponds. You can see water duck and Swan floating around lakes.
What lovely gardens and water features, reminds me of my visits to China. Absolutely gorgeous and well worth a visit.
Found this place a little boring, yes there is picnic areas, walking tracks average, somebody has removed the bronze horse, or to small for me to find, location board needs updating
Lovely, tranquil gardens. It's amazing for what they achieved with such little money. It's perhaps not surprising what the poor Chinese miners had to go through as they got no help from the government back in 1861. We tried to see the museum but it wasn't open on either Tuesday or Wednesday while we're here. But we're glad we visited this garden, the storyboard provided an overview of the racially motivated attacks.
