Best pies around cheese bacon are to die for as are the patato cheese and bacon. Never found a better pie in Australia

The Sourdough bread is nothing like Sourdough should be and shouldn't be called Sourdough. The owners should visit Two Bob's Bakery in Nelson Bay and learn what real Sourdough is.

OH MY GOODNESS this place is seriously the best pie shop in all of NSW, I travel around a fair bit and I'm always on the lookout for a great bakery and a cheese and bacon pie is My go to for lunch and let me tell you that you can't find a better pie than the lakes way bakery (if you know of better let me know) their loaded with cheese and bacon and are deep and a very generous size, there's always a line up especially in holidays but I'd wait for an hour if I had to because nothing compares to the taste and size, don't change a thing lakes way bakery your on a winner

Small bakery inside. Main takeaway was the chemistry between the two front of house staff. Completing each other's sentences ect. Food was goods

The curry pie was like a burning hot water fall they got the thickness of the curry wrong tasted good but still left with burnt fingers

Great day out dropped in to grab pie and sausage roll, curry pie was very runny sausage roll dry never returning in a life time

Never been there before but was highly recommended by a regular.and we were not disappointed! The pies and cakes were some of the best we have ever eaten. Though stopped 20 minutes down the road to eat them and a kookaburra dived down and literally snatched it out of husbands hands! Wish I had a camera.

The taste of curry pie was spot on, the steak& kidney pie could do a bit more kidney, it would be 5.5 stars. We loved the pastry.

Highly recommend this bakery the variety is awesome and everything is so fresh. The cream on the appleturnover is divine.

Very over rated bakery the pies weren't nice, sausage roll was nice, the rolled caramel sponge was more cream than actual cake and over priced

Another nice pie shop, good variety, reasonably priced. Cakes & slices very nice, pie, slice & a drink makes a good lunch (if you're not watching your carbs).

They have some great pies, and seem to share the recipe for their pies with "Hooked On Pies" in Taree because their pies taste the same.

Just got home, pre ordered $70 of pies, went to unpack from the box and bags, they looked like they had been thrown into a bag then piled into a box
(pretty damaged) Their product is great but the customer service is, if you don't like it who cares, no smiles here. I will still buy a pie or apple turnover there but I will never pre order anything if want it un smashed or sombody who cares. Buisness must be great.

A good suburban style bakery sausage rolls were nice bread is good an assortment of cakes to choose from also

Very busy Saturday lunchtime but disappointed with tomato and onion pie. Appleturnover was pretty good
