If you enjoy any type of cleanliness than this isn’t the place for you.
The pics on the website looked ama/looked run down and unkept. The pool was out of order and the area was a mess (looked like it had been like this for a while)
Broken windows onsite. It just looks rundown!

The room was not clean at all. Bedside tables were dusty, fabric dressers & headboards are probably not wise to have with the amount of dust in the room.
The bathroom was terrible. Stained shower/toilet - half a roll of toilet paper!
(Before the admin person says we should have asked for help we arrived just before they left for the night. But any decent place would have checked the room and stocked rooms efficiently before hand anyway)

We booked a pet friendly room for the night, but it’s not really pet friendly. We have dogs. There isn’t a space for them to be outside securely as all of the rooms backyards are joined. So for them to sniff around or stretch their legs you have to walk down the street.
We left at 5am just to get out of the place early.
Recommend you look for another place.

Terrible experience, they messed up our booking big time. They knew nothing about our booking and sent us away to their sister motel down the road, the staff there had no idea about our booking either. When we eventually got a room it was not what we had booked. In addition to this, the room was cold, the air conditioner did not work. The shower handle came off the wall when turned on. There was a bright light directly outside the window that lit up the entire room and was on all night. We did not sleep well at all. Never again, not recommended. I wanted to leave the second I walked into the room.

We stayed here for two nights the place was very run down and rubbish everywhere. On first glance the rooms looked clean but once you actually looked the surfaces where dusty and there were crumbs all over the table. We had a lake view which we couldnt see due the the FILTHY windows.
On the last night at 7.30 my son accidentally locked the key in the room, the reception closed at 7 but there was an after hours numbers, I tried the first 2 numbers a few times and no one answered. I then called the their call centre and spoke to someone who said he will try and get hold of them and they would call me back, after about 40 minutes and no call back I decided to call the call centre again and he gave me the code for the master key in the lock box.
Very unhappy with our stay and definitely won't stay there again dirty, un-maintained and terrible service.

This motel doesn’t deserve some of the negative reviews here Perhaps they were from clients of the previous management. Emma and Cathy at the front counter were delightful-friendly, welcoming and competent. Nothing was too much trouble and they seemed to genuinely care that I had a pleasant stay. The room was great, sparkling clean, lots of fluffy towels, and with a lovely view of the lake which was an unexpected bonus. The whole park is very ship -shape, and there’s clearly a lot of work being done by the new owners. I’ll definitely stay again if I get the chance just to see how it all turns out Oh and mesmerising walks along the surrounding lake area, with the sun setting and silhouetting the pelicans gliding past. Magical -thank you

Walls were gross and painted a different color in some places. Tap handles would fall off, oven doesn't work. Cabinets were awful, they would fall of most of the time if trying to open. Tv's didn't even have Netflix on them. Glass table I have children. Do not recommend staying here.

Stayed here over Easter with the wife and two dogs. Great pet friendly hotel, situated central to everything, and great value for money. Room had everything we needed. Kettle, microwave, bar fridge. Bathroom very modern and excellent shower. The tiled floors perfect for pets as well. Well worth the stay if looking for a pet friendly place to stay.

I will personally never take the time to leave a bad review but this place was horrible. After a 2 hour drive at night we spent no more than 5 minutes in the room and drove back home. The bed sheets were not changed from previous guests and were all stained. Shower needed to be cleaned and was mouldy. Curtains were absolutely disgusting. Lounge was filthy and uncomfortable. Walls needed a good paint. I would not have used the cutlery if I was paid. We have never seen anything more disgusting and did not even want to sit down or touch anything. Do not stay here!

By far the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in.
So run down. Everything you look at is an oh&s issue. The place should be closed down

If we could give negative stars we would.
It was like it was out of one those 90’s comedy US Frat house movies.
The swimming pool…. Well the photo says it all.
It’s a destination for boys weekends of drinking, late nights and as much noise as they can make.
The rooms appear clean on the surface until the cockroaches come to collect your luggage.
The bacterial experiments of mould in the bathroom top it off.
Stay away.e

Disappointing! Booked online location was nice, units are on the lake. The unit was ok size, but had smears on walls and curtains, just ick, although the bedding, floors and bathroom seemed clean? There was also an awful smell in the unit, which they had tried to cover up with some stinky cleaning product that made the smell worse. Glad we only booked one night, couldn't wait to get out of there.

We really enjoyed our stay with the Lakeside Inn. The staff were really accommodating and friendly. We had our dog with us and it was such a pet friendly place. The room was clean and we had a great shower. We got to explore parts of the area and it was a perfect place to lay our heads. Thankyou!

Grounds were not maintained, the whole place was run down. Kids beds had no top sheets, the top bunk bed fitted sheet was not changed from previous guests. Shower curtain mouldy and smelly, shower cell needed a good scrub. Lounge was filthy and uncomfortable. Tiles coming off in the mouldy bathroom. Walls needed a good paint. Cutlery was dirty and the plates and bowls were all wet from the day before when cleaned. Cockroaches crawling on the floor. Not worth what you pay for even though it’s seems reasonably priced.
I read the reviews and now unfortunately understand they were not just being picky, the place is a dump and I don’t understand how they can take money off people for the accommodation without feeling any guilt. Will never come back! Take note of the reviews it truly is disgusting.

They did not change our sheets as their is hair on our beds and their is small bugs crawling on the floor of the bathroom and the fridge has a strange smell to it.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean room and very comfortable bed. I'll definitely come back.might try a lakeside cabin next time and feed the pelicans!

Cabins were fine. Bed was very comfortable. View from our little verandah, was just beautiful. Lawns looked like they hadn't been mowed in weeks. Property was shabby & run down. No broom or vacuum cleaner in our cabin & the vinyl floors got very dirty as there had been a lot of rain. Staff were friendly. Pool was dark green. Maintenance around the property looks non existent.

Best customer service. Left my key in the room and the staff kindly left a spare in the key deposit box so we could get in after a night out. Legends.

Very clean room nice n quiet easy to find in the rain and the dark. Can’t wait to come stay in the cabin, nice n close to lake, tv didn’t work properly, shower floor was very slippery, beds Where not very comfortable.

We stayed 1 night and we didn't get the room we ordered.so we got a second free but both rooms had rubbish under the beds the toilet seat in the downstairs room moved and the whole toilet upstairs moved.the downstairs door kept opening and only downstairs has a sink.we even found nuts under the bed when I have a severe allergy to nuts.will not be coming back
