Please check your meds when you arrive, and every time they are given to you.
An ‘oversight’ which caused me to be without an important medication has caused great issues since then. I only realised on discharge, and wish i had double checked everything while i was there. Its hard when they are the people i’m supposed to trust the most with my health care

The most positive experience I’ve had to date. Dr Davies Is such a warm and authentic doctor. So welcoming.

The nurses there are some of the rudest I've come into contact with. They shouldn't be allowed to work in mental health sector when they have no experience in the field and no compassion for people when they are at the lowest point in their lives. I am absolutely appalled by the discusting treatment. Having said that there is a beautiful nurse there Tenzan that actually seems to care. Shame he can't be there 24/7

If you have private health insurance an have declining mental health ADMIT YOURSELF HERE.
This place really turned me around and help me get my life back on track. The nurses are friendly, warm, and easygoing to make for a comfortable and anxiety-free admission. The staff truley care and show compassion towards you and your condition (s). Personally, Dr Wellard, Nurse Gail, and Judy from the group sessions helped me significantly.

Fantastic private mental wellness facility. The nurses, and doctors are great in catering to your needs. Rooms are private and modern. Feeling much better after my time in Lakeside. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Amazing place, with great staff who make you feel safe and welcome. Facilities are extremely nice and new with every patient receiving a private room with ensuite. Food is very nice. Feeling a million times better after leaving. Thank you, LakeSide!

The wait is far longer than the two weeks they say on the phone and found out from senior staff later that there is usually 80 people lined up to come in and took me six weeks in total. Far too long when you are running rough and there are other private hospitals in the region you can go to like Maitland Private and Toronto Private. Just off the Freeway in Sydney is the new Gordon Private (57 beds) and other options there are Hills Clinic Kellyville, St John of God (Burwood and Richmond), Wesley (Kograh and Ashfield), Sydney Clinic (Bronte), South Pacific Private (Curl Curl), Sydney Southwest Private (Liverpool) and the various Northsides (St Leonards, Cremorne, Wentworthville and Campbelltown) and even South Coast Private in Wollongong that has a good rep.
There are some nurses that are engaging and care but far too many are just meerkat nurses that occasionally look over the nursing station to see what is going on. Food is very average compared to other Ramsay Hospitals like Northside in Sydney like dried out Corned Silverside being served up once a week.
The obvious sting is the TMS they offer for depression that is only a one shot deal per year due to health funds issues. Total BS and are pushing a 10 treatment outpatient program that is on "special" according to the shrink i saw for $1000 so you taper off after leaving. Doing it only once a year plus expensive outpatient treatment is all about maximising revenue for the hospital under the new general manager who i believe has an accounting and not health background. All heart (note the hint of sarcasm!)
On a positive note, the psychologists there were good and the facility is fairly new and par excellence.

Lakeside Clinic is an excellent private mental health facility. The nursing staff genuinely care for their patients and treat their patients with respect, dignity and kindness. A special thank you to Bron, Henry, Helen & Judy for your care. The clinic works with families & carers & runs support groups. It allows family members to visit and share meals with patients. The food is excellent and the clinic catered well for a vegan diet. Highly recommend this clinic - much better option than the public system.

The reception staff are really rude and unprofessional if you want them to do anything except make a standard booking and pay (as long as it isn’t the last appointment of the day when they pack up everything and make you pay over the phone the next day). I have been to this clinic for over 5 years and I decided to leave my specialist just so I didn’t have to deal with them (It worked out anyway because my doctor left at the same time too). Over the years I have overheard them talking about private information of other patients and they were sitting at the reception desk at the time and completely unaware that they could easily be heard.this always made me feel very uncomfortable. Everything seems like a hassle, including asking them to pass a message onto the doctor to call you, they insist EVERYTHING is communicated via email even if your disability makes it difficult to do this. They have no concept of reasonable adjustments. They also tell you one thing and the doctor something different, they never listen to you and you are treated like a difficult child if you challenge them on anything, like when they didn’t pass I my message on for over 3 months and told me I was mistaken because they always pass on messages. I said that I take exception to being told I am mistaken by someone who didn’t even check if I was right or not before making that statement and she just hung up on me. I understand if someone got angry at her that she could justify hanging up but I was calm, and there was no justification for hanging up on me.whilst they can be okay if you just want to pay and make an appointment, anything else, and I find the receptionists at the lakeside clinic very unprofessional.

First time being in a private facility and made a big mistake and now I can’t go back into lakeside.
Not happy at all. Being young and first admission was at Maitland public and contributed to my ptsd so I didn’t know any of the rules. SECOND CHANCES SHOULD BE OKAY.

Holistic approach to mental health issues. Excellent teams of psychiatrist, allied health and nurses. A safe space to work on your wellness with dignity and respect. They’re inclusive so you are included in your treatment.

One negligent nurse Jacinta has no clue about anything. Complete moron and she lied to my wife. The hospital also had a red back spider in the community areas and asked if I had killed it for them. Some very good nurses but quack doctors and very poor quality food.
