35Waste of time and money wouldn’t deal with this dishonest agent again guided a house I was interested in for 1.5 million ended up going for 2.4 million severely underquoted. John kastellorios should be reported to fair trading.will never ever do business with this agency again. Absolutely ridiculous
Severely underquoted a property by 60%! That is unheard of and unacceptable. Wasted peoples time and money without a care in the world. Shocking!
We had a very distressing experience as tenants with this real estate agency. Fair Trading were notified and the agency was reprimanded for attempting to increase our rent prior to the 12 month expiration date. They agreed to terminate our tenancy on the false proviso that the Landlords were wishing to sell. This is not an allowable reason to terminate a tenant on a fixed term agreement. The termination notice was subsequently redacted once our Landlords realised we knew they were our neighbours upstairs. L+S tried to force us into signing a new tenancy agreement within 72 hours. An agreed rental rate was subsequently increased. They threatened us by stating they “controlled” our rental references once they realised we could talk to the Landlord directly. I was told by the real estate agent that they terminate tenants when they suspect they aren’t going to continue on as tenants. They removed the pet clauses in the revised lease agreement.
The CEO of L+S apologised for the distress caused by the ordeal, but the Licensee could not swallow his pride and bring himself to apologise for the appalling actions of his staff.
In one word, this organisation is DESPICABLE!

In this few interactions with Benjamin while looking for a new tenant, I found him to be easily approachable, informative and acted professionally.
Tyne is the rudest and most unprofessional property manager I have ever encountered. My husband and I are exemplary tenants. We have never had any issue with any other property manager and have always received our bond back in full. Tyne even accused us of “wasting my time” when she refused to return our bond for weeks and made illegal demands to secure the return of our money. I escalated this issue to her boss Dimitri by email and phone and never received a response from him. Here is a copy of one of the many email’s I sent Tyne trying to obtain my bond.
Dear Tyne,
Nathan has just informed me of today's reason for withholding our bond. The owner would like us to pay for the previous tenant's stains to be steam cleaned from the carpet. Previously you informed us that once we provided a receipt from your preferred cleaner than our bond would be released as the owner was not happy with the cleaning of the walls. Prior to that you informed Nathan that you needed to speak with the owner in greater detail because you had not done so after she inspected the property. This was later retracted, and you informed Nathan that the owner had not completed an inspection on the property. I am becoming increasingly frustrated at the delay in returning our bond and I request you release the funds immediately.
I also ask that you send detailed photographs of the issues with the carpet as no provision was made for either Nathan or myself to attend the final inspection. This request is being made over a week after we have vacated the property and I am not responsible for steam cleaning stains that were present when our lease began. You cannot legally withhold my bond and request we pay for further cleaning expenses to cover the removal of existing stains on the carpet.

Late one morning, Roslyn answered a doorbell and Mr Juan Marin stood there, introduced himself and asked if we were looking at selling our house. He organised an appraisal and we suggested he keep in touch as we were planning to sell and move to a Lifestyle Apartments in about 12 months.
She asked Juan to keep us informed about the marketplace in our area. This he did with admiral professionalism. He was not a Salesman, he was doing a Sales Support job building relationships with households in his territory and his style and presentation was so good that we had no hesitation in contacting his company Laing and Simmons when we decided to start the process of selling our home for the last 38 years. We wanted Juan to be part of the team.
I had considerable experience with the importance of good relationships in the world of large corporation marketing of computers in my career and we were looking for someone that excelled in looking after us who was honest and who turned up on time, every time with a big smile on his face.
Juan (with Greg’s support) guided us all the way and I am delighted with the result attained and I hereby strongly recommend him in any role he takes on in the Real Estate industry.

After discussing my time constraints and concerns, Benjamin made the whole process progress really swiftly and I had a lease agreement signed before the close of business on the same day.
