10/10 Authentic Italian food!
Coming from an Italian background, I am ALWAYS sceptical when eating Italian out. La Bottega exceeded all expectations and is by far some of the best Italian I have eaten in Australia. If you want simple dishes that have quality ingredients and superb flavours, this is the place to go.

This is a hidden gem of a place. The food is possibly the best Italian food we've had in Australia. It was so delicious that we had to come back the next night for dinner.
There is something for everyone on the menu. My vegetarian wife had enough to choose from over our two visits that she was happy. Our fussy daughter was easily catered for and our son and me delighted in their pizza and pasta.

The service is welcoming and makes you feel like it's an invitation to someone's home with really good cooking.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

You will not regret it.

I recently dined at Peppe pizza restaurant and was absolutely delighted with the experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The staff were friendly and attentive.

The highlight, of course, was the pizza. It was nothing short of spectacular. The crust was thin and perfectly crispy, just as it should be, and the toppings were fresh and flavorful. I could truly taste the quality of the ingredients they use. It's evident that they take great pride in crafting their pizzas. And the tiramisu for dessert? It was the perfect sweet note to end a fantastic meal.

I can't recommend this restaurant enough for anyone who appreciates authentic Italian pizza and a memorable dining experience.

Food? Wonderful!
No table service - and cheap disposable cups on the table - not so wonderful.
Food size - Hmmmm … could be bigger.
Vibe? Cosy as - (except for in front of the brightly lit fridges)

Food was delicious and authentic, although I felt it was a bit expensive. Pizzas for 1 person were $30 and the same with the Pasta, I think we paid roughly $12 Aus for a pizza in Italy for 1 person, but it is Byron Bay so high prices to be expected but I’m wondering how many are just pricing themselves out of customers. Service was very friendly, I should have gone with the Godfather special. A lovey deli attached to so if you need great Parmesan grated fresh come here.

Owner was extremely rude and condescending when I brought up a major issue with their home deliver service. He was so loud and didn't give my the dignity to speak. He also insinuated he is the only one that works hard and I shouldn't complain to him. Crazy $33 for a medium pizza that I paid with my hard earned money with and disgusting delivery service with no compensation and rudeness when contacted the business that hires the delivery service. I don't think I have ever been spoken to in such a derogatory way in my life, he is lucky it wasn't in person!

Amazing authentic Italian pizza! Highly recommend. Definitely will be coming back. Felt like a little piece of Italy in Byron Bay. A true hidden gem.

The base was ok, can’t comment in the toppings as there weren’t any. Just as hungry when finished as I was when I started. Next time I’ll put in the miles and go to Mullum, long drive but worth it. I get three huge feeds for the same price as this little light weight appetizer

One of the best places we’ve eaten in Byron. Simple and no fuss. Delicious pizza. Fresh, tasty, beautiful ingredients and perfect dough - not too thin, not too dough-y. And if you love salad with your pizza, this place does them very well.

Best pizzas we have ever had. Peppe and his crew were very welcoming, happy and full of life. Highly recommend trying them.

It was such a delightful experience, very warm ambience and absolutely wonderful service! The pasta, pizza and lasagna really reflected the chef's heart in his dishes, our tummies were well pleased:) With love from Singapore, here at Byron Bay for one day of our 14-day road trip and so very blessed at this dinner here!

10/10 super service! This restaurant and its family of staff have so much character and heart! It was a beautiful interactive dinning experience we had this evening and the food was unlike any Italian I've experienced outside of Italy itself! Soooo delicious. A delightful restaurant serving authentic Italian pizza. We booked a table here for our family of 6 and upon arrival we noticed that peppi had set up a kids table for our little ones with some crayons and paper. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the pizza was delicious. If you want to be transported into the heart of Italy then La Bottega will exceed your expectations.

The greatest pizza and Italian deli in Byron Bay. Felt like we were in Italy. Great service, authentic food.
