Depends on the day you go and the staff you get. I didn't like the staff vibe or attitude on the day I went and they lady got my order wrong without any apology - I let it slide, she's the one who should be apologising but she didn't and instead I paid for both the incorrect and correct order.so I found her attitude off for working in a hospitality joint - she hasn't got the right attitude. Plus if you sit in the back it's noisy as hell with their kitchen works and dough mixers on full blast. Their coffee selections really are standard and lacking in diversity compared to other bespoke upmarket coffee joints. Considering the service, the noise levels, portion sizes - I think they are slightly overpriced for what you get.

Went To get a Dessert with my friends after lunch on Monday and I have been served by a terrible gentleman that definitly didn't make us feel welcome.

Everytime that I asked Him to get other cakes he turned his back and Never answer to me, no eyes Contact, made a big deal when I ask to chance the slice to a bigger one.also had this look on my friend and I that made us unconfortable. Also got complicate with the coffee order.

Really didn't feel good.

A lady that served us the coffee after was really smiley, nice and Polite. The Babka and Cake are really good as Always

I am manager in Retail and I know that for less than that other clients would have make a scene in the shop.
I hate leaving reviews but i would rather mention it that having another slice of attitude from this gentleman

Love their kurtosh but my friends and I left after being told it would be 30mins to get one! They had ONE guy making them on a Friday night when the place was packed. Pretty stupid management

Tiramisu was dry out and less flavoured. Very likely it was from last night’s leftover. Not worth the hype.

The cakes were priced at per 100g which confused us how much we need to order and the total costs. The coffee was average. The seating was not really comfortable and relaxing.

Had one of the Kurtosh - tried them in Europe and just love em! Like a fancy donut, crisp and cinnamon sugary on the outside, light fluffy dough on the inside.

Asked for 1 cinnamon, not sure if this is cinnamon but it was burnt pretty badly. Would only get their tiramisu. Can't believe this is priced at $10.00

Delicious cakes and one of my favourite places in Sydney. I’ve been coming here for years but their prices as of today are just not acceptable. $7.20 per 100g. We all agree that the cost of raw materials has gone up but their current prices are obnoxious. I hate to say this but I’m sorry I won’t be coming to buy your delicious overpriced cakes.
I’m writing to bring this to the attention of customers so you pay attention to the prices that have gone up from $5.40 per 100g to $6.90 per 100g to now $7.20 per 100g. It’s easy to think the price increase is minimal but if you buy 500g of cake for example, instead of paying $27 you will be paying close to $36.

One of the best Local cafes in Crowie ️

They are closing late at night hence you can still visit for a late walk going for a dessert run. I love their raspberry cheesecake 5/5 - must try!

I tried tiramisu during the last visit. For me it lacked a bit of flavour of coffee hence 3/5. Hope the flavour would improve next time I visit.

I have also tried the nutella kurtosh!
- 5/5!
Flat white and Chai latte are also 5/5.

I stumbled upon this shop and was immediately drawn in by its charming exterior.

As soon as I stepped inside, my mouth started watering The display case was filled with the most tempting treats, and I wanted to try them all.

I ended up getting a few different desserts to take home, and they were all absolutely delicious.

I can't wait to come back in for some more sweet treats.

The Kurdosh was okay-ish but very poor standard of hygiene - no gloves worn during the entire preparation.

Pleasantly dim lot, delicious seasoned sweet potato pastry and the Kürtósh was pretty tasty as a novelty.

Gave us offcuts of cakes, waited a long time when there’s only one group of people in front of us and 5 staff members that were free. Also got served by an employee that just wanted to finish his shift, nasty attitude (skinny, tall, short hair, facial hair)

The most iconic and amazing desert place - must try Kurtosh at Kurtosh. It's the perfect blend of sweet and savoury delicacy. So many options to choose from. Must try are - Nutella and plain cinnamon. It doesn't end here- the pastries are Super amazing too. The flourless chocolate cake is to die for. They charge you based on the weight of the cake you buy so feel free to indulge in just the right amount depending on what you feel like. Coffee is good too. Ample parking on the adjacent street. It's open till 10pm so it makes a perfect place to grab the post dinner sweet craving.

A great place to chill. Strong chai tea along with a walnut cake was a match made in lala land.

$16.50 for a piece of cake for 1 person? It’s not even that good. I’m giving 2 stars as the staff are friendly. Otherwise who pays such a high price for average cake?

A delightful place for sweets and certainly it a wonderful place to just chill out and relax. Most of the selection are charged by weight so you CAN control your portion.sharp service.

The Kurtosh or chimney cakes here are amazing. I definitely have to give the team here that. It definitely tastes authentic like the kurtosh that you can get from the street peddlers in Hungary. Nothing compares to a freshly made kurtosh when it’s snowing and -1 degrees. And if you are craving that chimney cake from Hungary this is the place to be. The chai latte is also excellent here.

However there are a few things I don’t like. Firstly, I have to say kurtosh is pricey. A chimney cake would cost around $2AUD in Hungary and here it starts at $8 and goes up to $12 if you decide to get the Nutella option plus the toppings available. I have to admit I still wince when I fork over $10.50 for my favourite Nutella with cinnamon.

The cakes are a hit or a miss. They bake large slabs of cake and sell them at $6.50 a slice. The cake can be freshly baked that morning or it may have been sitting there for a few days. So the popular cakes, I assume the chocolate flavored ones, are generally safe but if you want a fruit cake or a cheesecake probably give it a miss because it can be stale and texture can be off. At $6.50 a slice I would have expected all the cakes to be freshly baked. So that is why I have learnt to only get the kurtosh which is made fresh when you order.

Finally, although the store closes at 10pm and from 9: 30pm onwards you can only get beverages and cakes served in takeaway cups and boxes. I had to say I was disappointed as 30mins should be enough to serve one more sitting of dine in.
