Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden reviews
10 A great place to spend several hours hiking, walking, bird-watching, picnicking, learning, and more.
Trails are clearly laid out with accurate distances and times to complete. Easy to follow. It was a busy day when we were there, but at times on our hike, we felt alone in a large peaceful green and remote environment.
Privileged to see a group of yellow-tailed black cockatoos, a pair of king parrots, and other birds.
A large section of the trails in this reserve/garden are tarred, making them wheelchair friendly.
Also ideal for school excursions and children's parties
The trails are well maintained and the information center/nursery is OK. But despite its name dint see too many wild flowers in the middle of spring.
An art exhibition was laid out along a couple of trails. That was nice.
It might sound paradoxical to say, but may be for the name sake they should plant a lot of wild flowering plants.
The Mueller walk was awesome, challenging and rewarding. The visitor centre was great too and we spent quite a bit of money in the native plant nursery. Can't wait to come back and experience one of the longer walks.
Nice trails, some paved which is good for the kidlets and older family members.
I thought that the native plant nursery prices were good & entry to the park was free.
I would 100% go here again
Whilst we enjoyed the walk, I am rating 0 stars due to their decision to go cashless. I walked out without purchasing anything as I do not support a cashless society and social discrimination. My family was very disappointed that we couldn't even purchase an ice cream as a treat with the change that we had on us.
Wonderful place to enjoy the Aussie natives and the bush walk. The place is exploding with so much information, a good place for everyone to enjoy and have fun. The visitor information centre is a must with lizard and snakes to see and hold. The bush walk downhill and uphill is great with diverse flora and fauna.
Lovely place when not crowded, need to wear closed shoes. Nice flavoured ice blocks, lots of navigation locations.
One of my favourite places to come down to when Im travelling up north, it really brings you down to a level where you enjoy nature and alleviates the bussling city life stress, if your up for a bit of an uneven track with a few hurdles along the way, which is all part of the experience in my opinion, definitely check out the local walk.
Lovely walk through the bush and a decent playground for the kids. Good to find another reasonably long paved pram-friendly walk. The lady in the visitor centre was very helpful with directions. Quite a big steepish hill to get up (or down) in case you don’t like those!
Wonderful place for a short walk in the bush for all people
Fun for children
Have a great school holiday program for young one
