Lovely staff, awesome collection, plenty of space. Best library in the world.

This service by st george council is the best. Library has variety of books available to borrow, e- library is good. But especially what i liked most is their rhyme time, story time for kids. And library of things where you can borrow toys and books for kids.

Great library with big collection of books.they even have collections in other languages! Great collection of books for young adults too. The library is clean and you can book study rooms for extra peace and quiet plus computers downstairs if you need one.

This place is a blessing to have. Good resources, minimal noise level and the staff are phenomenal, especially the librarian with the blonde ponytail- doesn't stop working, kind and extremely helpful-she is phenomenal!

I don't like how they have stacked the DVD's, it is hard to see the titles at the back.

Lack of respect and trust plus no accountability or ownership for their actions. When you are in public service you should learn to treat people with atleast equal respect to what you receive. Also know how your own systems work, surely that not too much to ask.

Great customer service. The ladies at the front desk are very nice to children and the public in general. They take their time to explain how book lending process works. They always have a smile in their face.

Honestly I wished they called the police, when I used to go to the library to use the study rooms regularly with my mum who made me cry on multiple occasions. I was a little kid. They came and asked if everything was alright which was very kind of them, but they only asked my mum. Who would obviously say that everything is okay even though I'm sitting next to her sobbing and crying. The librarians should have been able to hear my mum shouting at me and blaming me through the glass. She was extremely loud.

Also I wished that they were nicer to me when I forgot the password to log onto the computers. Because if I couldn't log onto the computers and do my work I didn't know how my mum would react. Because she would always argue the opposite even going against what she said before. It's like never even having your perspective acknowledged.

There was also an instance when I was small they didn't believe me when I said I forgot the password to my locker, but they opened it sarcastically and was surprised when inside the locker there were the items I described. I just wasn't prepared to describe the items that's why I was taking a lot of pauses while describing it.

A little more recently when I went back to the library to study regularly, a librarian would look at me constantly as if questioning what I'm doing here. From my peripheral vision she was frowning.

Besides those things I had a lot of fun attending educational events, movie nights and craft sessions. Made some friends and read a lot of books which helped me. Thank you and I'm especially grateful that I'm able to write this. Thank you:)

Undoubtedly the best library in the area. Spacious and relatively quite. There are some study or discussion rooms. Book ahead if you need one. Particularly like their online booking and pick up. Lots of computer terminals to do reading or research. Also nice and quite study or reading areas. Lots of newspapers and magazines. 24 hours books return. Friendly staff and best customer service.

Went out of our way to study and with the library saying it was open. To go all the way there and it was closed. False advertising and highly unprofessional.

Excellent library, has a wide range of non fiction and fiction books, as well as some desktops on the bottom floor for personal study. Newspapers can be located near the staircase leading down to the ground floor, which is quite far from the main entrance, so I’d advocate placing another newspaper stand around about the main entrance. Many books are provided in various languages, catering for the multicultural community in the St George area. My only concern is the lack of non fiction books and their accessibility. For instance, much of the books concerning mathematics and philosophy are on the ground level near all the desktops, and this area is not made to be all too prevalent. One has to ask for specific book sections to the staff, which are not exactly evenly distributed throughout the library. Fairly good nonetheless, will come here again, due to the great accessibility of parking on Derby St.

One of the best libraries in the St. George area, for sure! Without a doubt. The library itself is spacious and quiet, very suitable for individual study and silent reading. The study rooms are nice and clean. I could hardly spot any speck of dust in there! The room temperature is ideal, not too cold and not too hot.

I also particularly like their online book reservation, the "in-transit" system. Kogarah Library delivers books to people on schedule, in a timely and punctual manner. So, if you reserve a book/s today from Kogarah Library, you most likely going to get them the next day. Overall, I'm very impressed!

Happy Reading and Happy Studying, folks!

Highly unprofessional staff who advised me that I was unable to have a coffee/tea which was in a take away cup and covered however when I pointed to another person who I saw having a coffee cup however she stated that it was was a staff member! What a hypocritical culture, Can you imagine a staff member sipping on a coffee telling you that you cannot access the library with the coffee however the rules don’t apply to them! Higher management needs to review their staff members unethical /unprofessional culture that exists within this library!
