Kmart Marrickville

It would be great if someone answered the phone to be able to check a products availability. Called 8-10 times over 3 days. No one ever answered the phone. Went in store to get the low stock item, it wasn't there. All could have been rectified if someone answered the phone to check the stock levels accuracy.

Seems to have problems with what's recorded as in stock online not matching what's actually in store.

The staff here are very helpful. I went to the shopping trolley when I saw it was in stock on the app, but it was not on the shelves yet. The staff helped me find it in the warehouse

So disappointed in Kmart for the first time. My fiancée and I have made so many purchases here. This evening I returned one lid from a set of pots which I recently purchased, however one of the lids handle was broken. I looked up the returns policy on the Kmart website which states that I could return the item for a replacement at any store. Note that I have spent Uber money to get there and back home. Only for the young girl named Zara at the returns department to tell me that I needed to return the pot which the lid belongs to as well in order to receive an exchange. So basically I had to pay for an Uber there and back and she expected me to do another trip there and back just to have exchanged the lid? Spending double the money for a set of pots because of having to get there and back twice. Needless to say that I just left the lid with the broken handle right there. A brand new set of pots which was delivered damaged. All I wanted was to exchange the lid. Why am I expected to make two trips for that?

Just read another two reviews about Zara not accommodating returns and being rude. She deserves an employee of the month award for losing customers to this store. Well done….

This store is relatively well stoked. It never has any trolleys available though. Staff always tell you to “walk to Woolies to get a trolley” which is absolutely ridiculous. Do better.

Edit: they also NEVER answer the phone. It rings out. Down to one star.

Since I can't write a review on a product, do not buy the chew resistant pet bed.that didn't last a day not even 5 hours. False advertising waste of $42, went by the reviews thought it would be worth a shot

Currently in the line waiting to collect a Click and Collect package. No one is allowed inside, everyone has to line up outside the store and stand in lines until they get to the shop front and tell them your order. However there are currently a total of 38 people standing in two long lines. And there are a grand total of two shop attendants. Two. Attendants. TWO.

I went during a lockdown in the morning where there was no traffic so it was quick and easy and always value for money.

Awful shop. Won't sell display appliances even though it's the last item! Why bother displaying an item which cannot be purchased? Website says "low stock" which apparently means only the display stock but you don't find that out until you drive there but of course you can't buy that appliance because reasons. Stupidity writ large! Shame Kmart, shame!

One of the worst Kmarts. Has a terrible selection of stock in comparison to other stores. Never has sizes. Definitely the dump store in Sydney for all Kmarts

Fun place with range of kmart offers home, gardening, hobbies, dresses and what not. Just like any other kmart. Good place of business as this is located where local shops, service nsw and all other services like foodaries, juice place, bakeries, fast foods, salons and watch repairs are all at one place.

Lots of stock not on shelves. Not sure if shop is shutting down soon given the renovations occuring all around it, but the stock levels are frustrating at the moment

Large, well laid out store with all those Kmart super bargains that you can't love without. Great for basic household needs.

Alot of out of stock items and due to that not much variety. They would have got more money out of me if all of the things I wanted were in stock. What I did buy however was great.

Easy to navigate with affordable and quality items. Still getting used to cashier in the middle of the shop but overall a good experience with helpful and friendly staff.

Customers at the lowest possible retail price, and maintain the world-famous first class customer service, makes Kmart at Marrickville combined with all the speciality makes Kmart a very interesting place to visit.
Well done Kmart management you always supply such a great diversity with excellent pricing and customer service that is second-to-none.

Unfortunately this Kmart isn’t good. It is literally always out of stock of virtually everything. I moved into the area in December and it’s been this way this whole time. It’s really such a shame, as everyone likes a Kmart and this one is very unreliable. It’s really not worth going

Big k-kmart plenty of stock open late can park out front so no need to go into Carpark

Just want to say the customer service staff are wonderf in this store.they are extremely helpful to sort out any issues or to help locate an item. I recently bought a bike from this store and was helped by Douglas.what can I say he is an asset to this store.he goes above and beyond. Thanks so much.
