Kmart Green Hills

Thank you for doing the most amazing personalised gift mugs especially within 12 hours before Christmas! You have no idea how grateful I am as these were very special presents for very special people! An awesome job on the mugs too.

When me and my friend went into Kmart today, we got our item taken off us, for no particular reason we were just going to look at some other things to buy before we pay. Later we left the store and came back for something else, but to our shock we were thrown out, again we had done nothing wrong, and the lady had said “ if you girls aren’t going to buy any thing then leave”. Again we had done nothing to upset or hurt anyone and we were going to buy something right after but before we could say anything she escorted us to the door and checked our bags like she thought we had stolen something. We heard that this had happen to a few other people that that didn’t do anything wrong, this has never happened before at Kmart and this lady should be fired. We love Kmart but this lady just ruined our experience. We are not sure of this lady’s name but if this has happen to anyone before please report as this is not acceptable.

Once again drove the 40 minutes to Greenhills, went to K Mart to start Christmas shopping, 11 am, no trollies, I asked the girl, are there going to be any trollies soon? She said, we are waiting for someone to get some, it will only be half an hour or so, you can go and get a trolly from somewhere else and bring in. Really! This is the third time they have had no trollies and not really caring. I will go to Glendale or Maitland from now on. Very poor.

I witnessed a shameful interaction between two employees this morning and I had to come here to voice my concerns.

Since Chirstmas is around the corner, Kmart was really busy, the self serve checkout line was longer than usual and obviously the staff were trying to move people along.

But after purchasing my goods from a self serve checkout, I witnessed a rude interaction between two young women,
both being employees. One of which had dark roots with a shade of bright yellow at the bottom of half of her hair.

This employee was speaking with a raised voice, obviously upset that her co worker didn't complete the tasks given to her. That's well and good to remind an employee to complete these tasks, however, this was not communicated in a professional way.

The employee with yellow hair was cruelly speaking to the co worker in an aggressive type of tone while her body language was also aggressive. From that short time I overheard them, I could make out that the yellowed hair woman was saying something along these lines:

"Well I asked you do it three times it's not that hard, etc"

I get that takes need to be done but this employee was acting very rude to the poor co worker who had a red face and tears in her eyes from the embarrassment. Keep in mind there were over 20 people at the registers during that interaction and a few people turned their heads, shocked at the unprofessionalism from the yellowed hair worker.

No one should be humiliated at work. No one should be spoken to in a cruel manner. No one should have tears in their eyes or a red face of shame.
The employee who was being scolded was a sweet young girl and my Mum made sure to let her know that she didn't deserve that treatment. She smiled sadly, still tears and thanked her.

Kmart,

Please tell your yellowed hair employee to treat people with kindness, to not make a workplace look like a highschool playground and to convey her concerns in a mature, compassionate and tolerable manner.
I can't bare to see such cruelty in the workplace. If you want more details I'm more than happy to email you guys.

Didn’t appreciate having a staff member today insinuate we were thieves for no reason.

We bought three items, paid for them at self checkout, and as we were leaving the checkout a girl asked us if we paid for the pouffe separately to our other items.

Confused, I asked her what she meant, and she asked if we paid for it, and I said yes we did, it’s on here, and I held the receipt out to her for her to look at it which she was too lazy to do and just looked at me, after waiting a few seconds with her just standing there I looked at my partner, she shrugged and we left.

We got to the door and showed the staff member at the door our receipt, she checks it out and says have a good day, then pauses as she gets a message through her radio, she looks at us, looks at the pouffe and says “yes they did” back into the ear piece.

So clearly the first staff member thought us thieves and told her to confirm, simply because she was too lazy to look at the receipt I offered to show her and just presumed we were thieves.

Maybe next time if you want to ask if I’ve paid for something, look at the bloody receipt when I offer it to you instead of just staring at me.

My experience here was great. Like always Kmart has the most affordable assortment of products in all departments. I bought a bunch of stuff from them when I got my own place.

It's ok,
Prices are really good particularly on clothing, however, being a larger bloke, wish kmart would have nicer options than plain ol plain shirts and pants. If your anymore than a 3 or 4xl, don't bother looking anywhere but the designated 'large people' area.

Have everything you need in one place! Beautiful lights of a night and great play area for the kids while parents have a cuppa! Great atmosphere!

The biggest let down of this store is the layout, merch categories are all over the place and it has not been done well leaving you feeling a little frustrated at times when trying to find what you want.

They offer decent variety but when comparing to other k mart stores such as the one in Maitland you definitely feel like this one has less stock.

The best part of this store is the older gentleman who handles the front door welcoming people and checking bags. He himself offers 5 star service and is a real hoot. So glad he stayed on from when the store was Target as he really makes a positive impact on your day.

Never much stock to be honest. Lots of empty shelves. Employees are fine. Just not a range of things to choose from.

Staff are always friendly. I always find things difficult to locate compared to other Kmart stores. Also found lack of kids toys of which I was looking for my nephew.

K Mart Greenhills was great if u didn't know better u would think u were at K Mart Waratah, same sort of lay out. I actually found the staff to be more present and very friendly and more helpful.

Always welcomed by the staff at the door. The range of products is excellent, as well as the quality and the prices are more than competitive.

Good customer service and staff who made our visit easy by showing us where the stuff we wanted was located

I was able to purchase every thing I needed at a very reasonable cost.the staff were extremely helpful the store was great

Good bang for your buck, was able to click and collect in 2 hours instead of going through everything especially when it was the last item in my size

Not as much as the Kmart in Maitland has, the staff are great and always willing to help, I will be back.

Large variety of shops and food places. Plenty of parking. Good parents rooms and clean toilets.

The store, staff and the variety is really great.
Mobile phone signals reception inside store is not good. Which makes it very difficult to check details online or call someone to take advice while shopping.
If Kmart Green-hills can do something to improve mobile phone signals reception inside store, that would be great.

Isabelle! What a champ! Young lady here gave the quickest and most prompt response ever tonight, very happy that we have people like this working here. Definitely on her way to manager. After years of my own business this is the person you would want to speak to. Bravo
